When I lived in Hawaii the young kids in the neighborhood, as well as my friends' children, called me "Uncle". It was a warm feeling, I kind of liked it. I called many of my elderly patients Granma. Mrs. So and So was way too formal for Hawaii

swamp rabbits ( Sylvilagus aquaticus) are found in the southern wetland states. They are related to the cottontail but much larger. They are fond of water and will hide in the water to avoid predation.
How lucky you are to see that. They are harmless but might eat some of your favorite plants
I believe that's the Tu Hunt i'r Bont. It's now a tea room in north Wales. Fantastic in the fall

Back in the late 1800 a Shakespearean themed park was established. People wanted different species of birds mentioned in Shakespeare's writings, one, of course, was the Starling. Many were introduced in the park and now they are everywhere-including above WessoJEPG's car

Great shot. I tend to agree with Oldnintheway. The head doesn't seem quite round enough for a SS and the rounded tail says Coopers. Really difficult to tell the difference. What's important is that you got a really nice shot
