Take keyboards for example.
I remember heavy IBM keyboards that clicked when you typed on them. They seemed to last forever. I love the sound of a fast typist on an old mechanical keyswitch keyboard. Of course, there are still quality mechanical keyboards being made today, but most are outside of my budget.
Well, through a stroke of good luck, I am typing this post on an old 5 pound IBM keyboard. It is not the really clicky one, but it is a bit noisier than the Walmart special it is replacing, but I love it. I may reply to more posts just to have an excuse to use this.

You would get a real "KICK" out of an old TeleType machine. I had one that was as big as a dishwasher and the paper came in rolls....
