Started with Minolta (SRT101) then followed the brand through until Sony picked up the photo business.

Had an a230 but quickly moved up to two A850s that let me build a good photo business. Stayed with the brand and now have an A7RII (for when I need the resolution) and an A7III (for when I don't). Neither has ever failed me (knock wood). I also have an RX1000 Mk VII for just carrying around.

Good brand, good cameras, and now a great native lens line-up.

My Logitech C615 has suddenly (within the last month or so) decided that it doesn't want to record photo or video. Was there a Windows (10) update recently that might cause suck a problem? Any other ideas?

I have a 2+ year old R3000 that frequently leaves toner streaks on a print (thereby rendering it unusable). While not always the case, the streaking/smearing seems worse when the white margins are smallest. Note, too, that the streaks are always black.

Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Anyone have any experience with this lens (either the f/2.8 or the f/4 version)?
Focus speed and accuracy, ergonomics, color rendition, bookeh, etc.?

I intend to use this FF lens on my a6500 (crop sensor) body. The available mid-teleohoto options for the crop camera are simply not sharp enough.

Thanks in advance.

I use the F/4 version on my A7 III and love it. Fast, responsive, and easily handleable.

I'm thinking of getting the above mentioned SSD to use in off loading (or backing up) SD cards. Can someone who uses these (or similar) describe the hook-up (I'd just as soon not have to carry a laptop around). So Camera/SD to portable drive is desired. Thanks for any help.

The only way to make a comparison of unedited SOOC images is to limit the subject images to one camera brand and model with a specified firmware version; and to limit the camera lens to a single model with (if appropriate) a specified firmware version. Without these restrictions, each image is subject in some degree to the editing decisions made by the camera.

Thanks to all for the suggestions. I first tried with a wired (USB) connection and the control panel showed the printer grayed out (can''t do much, if anything) so I did the WiFi installation with drivers and software from the Epsom web site.
I may have to call Epsom for assistance.

Windows 10
I have an Epsom R3000 printer that i'm trying to get restarted after it being idle for about a year.
Right now, I've got it where the computer sees the printer (shows in the Control Panel), but the printer won't print. When I turn it on, it just runs all the paper through until it's empty, then it shows a "no paper/paper jam" status.
The printer is installed for wireless printing (in fact, it was setting it up this way that got the control panel to see it}.
This wireless installation was done by physically connecting the printer to the computer via USB; the USB cable is still connected. Should I disconnect the USB?
Someone (another forum) suggested that the printer behaves this way if the print nozzles need cleaning; yes/no? I'm sure that my printer nozzles do in fact need cleaning.
Any ideas or suggestions are more that welcome.

I no longer have a DeHaze slider in my lightroom development module. Any ideas as to where or why it's gone?

Thanks in advance.,

At the last wedding I shot, the groom and best man were in suits, the preacher was in a suit, the photographer was in a suit, the bridesmaid was in a dress, the bride was decked out as is normal and her dad walked her down the aisle in jeans, a Henley and a down vest & sneakers. Go figure.

IMHO, the photographer should be dressed so as to not stick out. As (s)he is working, a jacket may not be required, but nice slacks with a wrinkle-free shirt and tie present one as a professional. Jeans and a frumpy shirt may be in style, but lack professionalism. Don’t forget that while you are taking images, you are presenting an image as well. Most guests will see the image you present and never see the images you shoot...

Best response and I agree.
