Hey Capture, thanx for the input.And, you are absolutely right, I was/am thoroughly confused! I wound up deleting the whole catalog.....which as it turns out is not a bad thing cause now I get to start fresh...and hopefully right!

Thanx Leicaflex. We didnt uninstall previous version. Tech on phone said if I did would loose files. In hind sight I should have saved the files I wanted and deleted rest. Now I have 13000 files to sort thru. Any info on how to make multiple selections so I can start deletingfiles in baches instead of one by one??

Just got subscription. Previously had "boot-leg" copy. Now when I downloaded it imported catalog from previous version. now work flow is a mess need to clean up but cant seem to select more than 1 photo at a time...currently have 13,000....also imported photos from sd card but not all photos were imported some lr says are corrupted or not there, but are visible in windows? also since I imported lr my files in widows now have this new icon lr or dng,or nef???? and some cant be opened in windows...help guys tried to contact adobe...btw need help with that too they're supposed to have this online chat support but when I tried to access just ran me in circles from screen to screen....need you HH'S. attached or tried to...copy of file that says lr but is actually empty so you can see what I have...thanx

No...no DVI these photos are going to places like facebook...peoples personal pages....they have....to my knowledge regular consumer grade tech.....however I still maintain there are really good looking pics...like the banners on some of these pages that seem to transfer from laptop to phone without changing quality...does anyone know how thats done?

Thanx for the suggestions. But you know, I just cant shake this notion that I've seen pics like the banner on this page.....that look just as good on my laptop, my phone, desktop, etc. is there some standard color profile/resolution matrix?

It has been recently bought to my attention that the pics I email arent always being seen the way I sent them. I thought this was due to the difference in devices....however it occured to me that Ive seen pics that look good on any device?! So how do I calibrate resolution so that my pics look like they should on any device...phone, laptop, etc.???

Hey KlausK.....IS THE UNDEREXPOSURE the reason for the orange cast? In this one I think I turned down the exposure to get richer skin tone? but then got this orange glow tint thingy going on....????? and I think the monitors Im using need calibration when I look on a laptop not as bad as on my cell.....

OK Guy's.....here's where it stands right now...I spoke directly to photog....you do have to go to local device however you can configure set up to auto update so you dont have to stop shooting to upload files as it was
explained to me it would work something like this....configure a program like lr to auto update a page in lets say Flickr. The wifi would send file to preset lr folder which in turn would auto update by monitoring said folder and sending any new files auto to flickr there by allowing photog the ability to continuously shoot. Thanx for all the input just wanted to share a solution and still open for any other ideas....
