were, ISO 100 f7.1 1/500 sec

The day we lost part of our lovely pier to a fire.
This picture was taken during high tide and strong winds, I was wearing my wellies but still got wet feet when a wave came over the top

Sorry if it's taken me a while to get back to everyone but I would like to thank all of you for the positive remarks about my picture Foggy London Town. Encouraged by all the good comments I received from everyone I decided to enter the picture into competition at my photographic society and received the top mark of (20) so thanks again to all.
I got up early when I saw the fog an took a walk along the South Bank and this was one of the many photos taken that morning before it lifted.
