Are these mountains NE of Seoul?? If so, they haven't changed in over 60 years (1952). Still jagged and mean - especially in the bitter cold/snowy winters.

First image is with Canon 70-300mm IS at 300mm ISO 400 f7.1 1/400 sec.

Second image is with Tamron 150-600mm VC at 300mm ISO 400 f8 1/500 sec.

The building is 2 miles distant. Camera is tripod mounted. It was a hot day with slight "heat-wave." Both images shot thru a circular polarizing filter.

Hope this helps.

P.S. Shooting with Canon 7D

For a 69 year-old gal, Nickel Plate 765 can surely strut her stuff. Great photos!

Won't be long before the rotaries will be out. Thanks.

Looks like the Cumbres & Toltec Railroad. What is the location?

Yeah, I was thinking that the blurriness was because of the shadows.
If you click the "Download" button you can make the photos larger so we can see them better.

Thanks re the download button. I have only been off of film for a year-and-a-half - still doing my best to catch-up to the digital age.

Wally! I like #1 & #3. Very nice, thanks for sharing.

Appreciate it. #2 was taken at night with a set of floods from left and right which caused the lettering to appear blurred. I do have other night images that are much better. Thanks again.

Finally went digital a year ago - currently shooting with a Canon 7D. This is a whole new world. Been shooting film since the late forties - will take some getting used to - so far, so good.
