Thanks for all the recommendations - will come in handy in the future. Went to Staples looking for a device to remove rear cap, but a very nice employee twisted the cap right off - he had a much stronger grip.

I placed a rear lens cap on my new Nikon 70-200mm f4G lens and cannot get it off. It is on very tight, like it just melted into place. Not sure if it was the one that came with the lens or one I already had. It has Nikon F mount printed on cap. Any help deeply appreciated!
