To the best of my knowledge there is no mechanical shutter in the new all electronic Sony 'slr' - I don't have one, but from what I read there are no mechanical parts - I could be wrong but don't think so - I don't remember the model number - read about it a while ago - I was impressed - worth investigating unless you are looking to spend a few hundred dollars the one I saw is thousands of dollars

I was excited to find out yesterday that Time Magazine selected my son Mark's Instagram feed (mfphoto) as the 'must follow' Instagram feed for the State of Maine.
Time.com LightBox selects each year an Instagram Feed to follow from each State plus Washington DC.

I have a fantastic 10x10 display booth that we used a photography shows - it has a cathedral ceiling and is much nicer than the typical pop-up type booths. It has sides for hanging photos and just looks much more professional than most of the display booths we have seen at shows. It is not something we can realistically ship so you will need to pick it up here in Maine. We paid well over $500 for it but it is yours for the taking - we are selling our home and need to get rid of it so are offering it free to a good home. I have two good quality (I would say excellent but don't like to use superlatives like that) 10x10 display booths for sale:

* A very nice raised ceiling booth - very professional looking and works well for photographs but can be used for anything
* A Standard Pop-up - almost new, used once, carrying case has wheels on one end - has side screens to totally enclose it - Coleman Brand

I simply do not have the time and or energy to set either up to take photos but they are good ones. At 73 following a heart attack I no longer can do that kind of activity - sorry.

$100 for each or make an offer for both.
