When my daughter was 2, her favorite sandwich was Blow me and Cheese. Got some looks, but not from other parents.
I use a spyder every 2 months.
Also, I have done a nozzle cleaning and check. It seems fine
I am using Lightroom CC with an Epson 3880. After not printing for a couple of weeks, I seem to have lost a lot of saturation, the photos look a little washed out.
1 Monitor is calibrated
2 I have tried both printer and Lightroom control, no help
3 I have printed on a variety of good papers
4 Both relative, and perceptual
5 Correct profiles
I feel I'm missing something small (and Basic)
Thanks for considering my quandary!
I'm shooting with a Nikon D810 and I need a good dedicated flash for it. I'll be using it for fill flash a lot. Cost is not the issue, but rather ease of use and good value for the money I spend. Anybody have recommendations or warnings?
Actually, the 3 are for us guys that are more homesick.
Hi. I'm in Western Ma. I'll buy that. Send me a msg to work out details!
It took me a second to figure out what you were saying, but I've got it now!
My mother grew up on a farm in northern Canada. They have breakfast in the morning, dinner at about 1 pm, supper in the evening, and at 9pm, they eat lunch, which is anything (and everything) in the fridge.

Thats the same place the connector is in all of Nikons more or less pro bodies. I think you can buy a third party wireless remote...reciever mounts on the hot shoe.
Look at the RFN-4tx by SMDV. Got it for $40 on Amazon. It plugs into the 10 pin remote terminal, it's good for several hundred feet, and has 16 channels. ( I've never had any interference with it.)

Ken Rockwell is a clown, and often appears to be a shill for products he reviews. Theres better sources out there.
I wasn't promoting him. I stand by what I said. By going down his list, I got a good jump on learning the D800.
I shoot as many as 450 shots in an outing with my D800. I have decent 32 gig cards in both slots and have never filled them up completely. (All raw of course). In fact, I'm in the market for new cards, but more for the speed than the volume ( Been shooting a lot of sports lately) I think 64 gig would be nice, but I'm not sure I would need them. Enjoy
Love my D800. I've had it for 15 months and am still finding things out about it. I started with Ken Rockwells blurb on how he sets his presets and why. I don't agree with all of his decisions, but I learned a lot from it. As was pointed out, a big advantage is the pixel count. You can shoot in DX, but I find I can crop more liberally and still keep the size big enough to be useful. I think you'll enjoy it a lot. Congratulations
NO.NO. By all means get it. If you don't, you'll need it in about a week!
Just over $10,000. But all the gear is less than 18mos old.
Thx. As long as I've been using Lightroom, and I am still learning things about it I didn't know....
