Well, I have used non Canon batteries for several of my cameras with no problems at all.
Including EOS90D,EOS7D, XA10? video camera. Major savings on cost for me.

Thank you, the drone is a DJI Mini3 Pro, very small and light weight with a superb video camera which is what I use it mainly for.

Thanks for your reply. It was just a quick shot in between the bad weather we have been having lately.
I was fairly happy with the result but I tend to use more video than stills with the drone.
