Thanks guys.... Manfrotto seems good, if a little pricey......but I guess you get what you pay for
My trusty old tripod has given up the ghost, well over 10 years and rarely used... What tripod should I go for? Are budget ones cheap and nasty? I am not a pro but do like the things I buy to work flawlessly when needed... I've seen some for as little as £30 and others a lot more expensive. Would like to spend as little as possible but would consider going up to £75 maybe even £100... My canon 550D with battery grip, kenko tubes and sigma 50mm 1.4 lens combined seems quite weighty..... Any ideas? Thanks
Thanks... Quite like the way it turned out... No creepy crawlys about due to the weather :( and finding it hard to find anything of any interest to snap... My go dig up some wood lice from the garden....
Thanks, to be honest this was one of the first photos I took with my new tubes.. Used a phones bright screen to provide the up light and the mustard on top is a mystery to me as our walls are magnolia.... Took with a sigma 1.4 50mm and a canon 550D... Left the shutter open for around 10 seconds.... Searching the house for other small interesting objects to snap lol
Took this using my new kenko macro tubes.... Quite impressive I think... What do you think guys?... Looking forward to some dry days to get some creepy crawly macro shots....
Needle and thread
Fantastic shot, naturally critical but not a bad word to say.... Amazing
What an amazing thing to experience, I am truly jealous.... Great shots
Thanks for your kind words
Fake flowers added with PS
Love this photo, Gunners mum was stood up behind him making sure he did not fall, she has been edited out :)
I get the impression that a lot of purists do not like using photoshop... I am afraid that I like what I like and have no problem in editing my photos to maximise the results....
Just added 4 x sequential photos of Gunner that are framed together and work really well....(I think so, anyway)
Gunner1
Gunner2
Gunner3
Gunner4 my favourite lol
The wife, original colour lips and top
They are rather scary... Lol
I really enjoy messing around with my 550d, just wish I had more time to do so....
The first shot of my dog in full sprint was somewhat ruined by a post near his back end (hence the crop).
Photo 2 is my beautiful wife and newborn baby, over exposed for artistic purpose.
And lastly a photo of my little boy Gunner. My wife really wanted a blue eyed baby, but being Mediterranean, brown eyes are the norm with all my children... Thought I would play around with PS and give my good lady what she always wanted..... Other than money that is .
