I used to have a motor home and after my wife pointed out that a tailgaters who hit the rear would get his just rewards if he hit us because the black water tank was right in front of the rear bumper.
As for pickup drivers railroading more than others I agree. I think there is something about some drivers (who would be aggressive in any vehicle) being predisposed to buying pickup trucks. I am nor talking about people who have a legitimate reason for having a pickup truck such as farmers or contractors etc. But the city sluckers that buy a truck and never use it as a truck. They just want a big aggressive looking vehicle because they are aggressive drivers anyway.
I handle them by first putting on my 4 way flashing lights for a few seconds. If that doesn't work. I put on the 4 ways and coast to slow down by about 15 km/h.
I then resume my usual peed at the speed limit plus 2 km/h.
If they repeat the tailgating for a third time I slow down the the slowest speed I can legally drive. That usually infuriates them so much they pull out and floor the accelerator. They roar past often blasting the horn I am prepared to brake in case they decide to cut back in just to scare me. That is usually the last I see of them.
Commercial truckers I handle a little differently, I try to identify their company and get vehicle ID such as a serial number. Then I phone the company and have a chat with their safety officer.
On one case I was able to call right away because the company's phone number was on the truck. They were able to identify the driver and phoned him with a reprimand right away.

Hello, Eveyone! I am looking for recommendations for a quality laptop up to $800 with good graphics for photo editing. (I am not interested in a Mac Book, and, yes, I know they are not in that price range, or buying used 😉) Thank you so much!

Before you buy, go to the website of the software.
Look on the website for the system requirements for the software.

Most have a list of minimum requirements and recommended hardware and operating system.

Be aware that if you go with all the minimum requirements the software will be very slow if it works at all. I suggest you look for a laptop that meets m9st, preferably all of the recommended requirements.
Upgrading a laptop is difficult and expensive so it is best to get what you need on the first place.i hope those works.

PS: IF the vendor cannot provide what you want, find another vendor.

I have not used Dell so I cannit recommend them but I believe they will custom build a laptop for you.

Not sure but maybe egg sacks?

I thought the same thing.
Or perhaps food storage for later use?

I think a brood chamber for her eggs is more likely.

Very nice. You could have driven past it and not seen it in the foliage.
It would be nice on a sunny day in the autumn after the leaves have changed colour.

I have been struggling with Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop. Not the programs themselves, but with the hard drive they are installed on... The issue is that the drive is too small and occasionally doesn't have enough "room" to do some functions.

All of my Adobe software is loaded on the C: drive, which is only 128GB. Not my choice, but it is what I have to deal with. And, I have been fighting to keep enough open drive space for PS and LR, but am losing the battle.

So, I have options... I could uninstall/reinstall the Adobe stuff to another drive. (I have two others, both are SSDs with lots of space. Or, I could install a new, larger, C: drive (SSD type).

The question then, is whether one option is better than the other. Putting in the new C: drive would provide great overall system improvement. However, there is a lot that goes into physically replacing that drive. I believe there is software that can manage the upgrade tasks.

The other option would be to uninstall all my adobe software and reinstall on one of the other drives. That would likely resolve the issue. But, requires a bit of work to get everything reset.

Any input would be appreciated... Where do you have your software installed? Any experience upgrading your C: drive? Ever moved your Adobe programs from one drive to another?

Thanks!

128 Mb is far too small for the main drive with Windows on it.
For better overall performance a larger C:\ drive is recommended. A 512 Mb SSD would be a good choice. Move Windows to the new drive but leave the Adobe software on the 128 Mb SSD. You should find a significant improvement in performance.

It is the future of USB cables. Now, you can not only l plug it in either way up but you can use either end of the cable.

Those were the days when stores actually served the customer. There was no need to wander all over the store looking for the items you needed. You just asked the man behind the counter for the items you wanted and he would get them for you.

Just clicked on a video of that name (approx.) and the first thing that pops up is about the Fluorocope for fitting shoes!

Haven't thought about those gizmos since the last one I saw in about 1957! Anyone else remember these guarantors of the perfect fit for shoes?

What actually caught my eye was the twin lens reflex camera. I still have my Yashica-A out in the garage, in a box. At the moment, I forget if it used 620 or 120 film. I recall that there were interchangeable backs available.

Wow!

I remember the fluroscopes. A really bad idea.
I also remember the days of roll filmm. 620 and 120 films were almost identical. The only difference is the size of the hole in the spool. 620 was a Kodak product. Kodak cameras used 620. Most orher cameras used the more universal 120 format. A few cameras could use either format.
