I am an artist and often paint hot summer, high noon landscapes "over-exposed" as this evokes heat more than anything else. I am comfortable with over exposed photographs that evoke summer heat as well. Correcting the over exposure often cools the photographic image so that it no longer is evocative of summer heat.

You obviously have a good eye for composition and jounalistic type photographs. Your composition is good on all of them but especially good, in my opinion, on 2 and 6.
I agree 100% with tilde531. As well the boat is perfectly positioned in a beautifully atmospheric and serene photograph.
Not fake, the fishermen's spines are different, the bodies are turned differently.
There are some fascinating interpretations on the theme in this album...and a number of crooked camera!

These are really nice shots. I have been trolling through Ugly HedgeHog looking at mostly very ordinary photography. These are nicely composed, good use of colour and Depth of Field.
