That is a watermark.
Not place on any of the other photos.
I don’t answer to people who ave been rude in their Pam’s or those who don’t follow instructions to PM... this is not to be negotiated in the open. I am answering here to clarify to all the watermark. If I cannot sell it, i will not give it away. So, the prices are up there to see. Make your offers by PM if you are not being “ignored. Thank you for the opportunity for clarification of the watermark.

Hey BuBu,

I am wondering if you might still have this Cannon lens for sale or if you might have sold it by now... ? If you have sold it, then I understand and send my hardy congratulations.. if not we might be able negotiate a deal... First off, however.... upon looking at the pics you have provided .. on the full length pic... could you tell me about the signature that shows up on the barrel of the lens in that picture? Thanks, E. R. Hales

She does that when relaxed... she extends the paw and extends claws again and again... never in aggressive way.

I will NOT consider $250 or less as suggested by some ... Try to be polite, 'cause we can disagree on prices and not be enemies or insult others.

It's being a long time since I posted here, but a few days back I caught the guy I have been chasing since last year or 2 years ago, when I saw just a glimpse of him/her.

This set was taken the 21rst this month and I was thrilled. The guy comes out to go to the toilet in our backyard often, but I have seen him/her only when jumping into the water. I had seen his moving body (no head was visible) swimming around, close to the shore of the lake, when I thought it was looking too much like a micro Loch Ness Monster and always left for the safety that the house provided.

This time, though, he was frolicking on the grass and I had tiem to go fetch my old Canon SX30 and take a few shots.

Here they are:

$50 + S&H (USA)

I have no time for fixing and don't think I would invest time in this, so maybe someone would be interested on thsi old Canon for parts or else. The story is up there and these are the photos.

Or perhaps as I suggested, the "technology advances," once you've actually used them, turn out to be fools gold. I stand by my statement that, boiled down, says the 50D is a great camera and those that followed it in that line have what I consider mostly frivolous new features. For many 50D shooters it doesn't make sense to use a broken, repairable camera as an excuse to spend $1000 or more on the newest model. Some here have that mindset; others need to use their money more wisely.

I really, really agree. Frivolous or not, not worth spending over $1K now.If I can fix it, with a great lens, It can take great photos. Unless I shoot for print in magazines, I don't need more, people.

OK, no grudges, just trying to make light of this. This forum has changed somewhat in the format for replies since I was last active, and I am not used to it. Sorry for that.

The 50D is a great still camera.

Yeah, spend $1000 and get a botched controller pad in place of that great joystick, in-camera "filters", half-a$$ed WiFi, more expensive batteries that are chipped for failure, limited video, the same crappy LCD status display that came on, I think, the 10D, and you can toss all your CF cards because the newer models in the line use SD. That's just off the top of my head. If you can't figure it out, the 50D was a very significant improvement over its predecessors, and nothing that followed it offered notable, well-implemented advances for the 50D user.

I would take the thing to the Irvine service center and have it repaired. Or at least I'd call Irvine and ask how much to fix it. I'm sure it would be cheaper than buying an 80D.

I tried fixing it and had the only crooked pin almost aligned. I inserted the card and it got more entangled than before. I think it is beyond repair by "ME". There are some very good suggestions here, and good statements, including a repair site, selling it for parts, etc. I am surely not spending over $1000 for a camera at my age, I would probably use it seldom and no one is going to pay for my photos! OMG & LOL! I have been selling lenses from time to time and will probably stay at the minimum in the future and have no fancy plastic cameras to handle. But I thank you everyone that gave positive feedback and no negative judgements. Thank you all, you have been very kind.

Yes, probably right not worth repairing. I know it is old, and it has served me well and is still a good camera. My best second is a T2i and then a NEX 5N, plus a plethora of may oldies. I am not one of those that have to have the latest. That is just brainwashing by companies.
