A great way to achieve fab closeups is, once you have a macro lens, buy a cheap reversing ring and step rings and any good 50mm standard lens even old ones in good shape optically. Reverse that 50 onto your macro lens with the 50mm aperture wide open. This will also work with any lens with close focusing capabilities. The results will speak for themselves. A focusing rail would be another great addition for fine incremental focus. You don't need an expensive one just a rugged one. Some sell for $30 or less. and the reversing/step rings are dirt cheap. I agree with the member who suggested upgrading lenses. The difference that move will make will far exceed what switching to a FF and using the same lenses will accomplish. I strongly suggest adding some standard lenses or what are referred to as prime. Maybe a 50 1.4 an 85 1.4 and a 100 2.8 macro which will serve double duty. And don't shy away from third party lenses, especially the Sigma Art line and the Tamron with VC line. Good luck.

I really hope you're right. But how can anyone know what they plan to do if they stay so darned closed-mouthed. Still no details from Romney/Ryan. There is also Soc Sec which is a big deal for severely disabled vets. When someone holds their cards so close to the vest, I don't trust that they aren't slippin in an ace or two from the sleeve. I'm concerned because these newbie disabled vets deserve at least what we VN vets had. They've earned all of it. I see these two rich kids as having little or no idea how the lives of regular and disadvantaged folks will fare from cuts or restructuring of programs like these. And, I don't think they care much either. They've said so already. One when the cameras were rolling and one with the cameras seemingly absent. They seem to disdain folks who aren't wealthy and priviledged. I think they are a couple of spoiled brats. IMHO of course.

Well, the rich kid got his behind handed to him. He made some good points but as usual, no specifics on the tax plan. But, very telling was the fact that he did not deny or denounce that the Loopholes included the things we dems figured he'd attack. Mort interest ded. Healthcare ded. Education Ded. etc. Seems the only way to know what they're up to is to look for the denial and if it isn't there then you've discovered another facit of the "plan".
Why do these guys need another tax break at the expense of the little guy? Another thing that was glaring was his position on women's healthcare and abortion. Two days ago Romney stated that overturning Rowe v Wade was not part of the agenda. And like always, the truth is revealed and we see gov't in the bedroom again. I think we'll see a robotic performance vs. a warm and engaging Biden. And, maybe I'LL hear finally just what those convictions are. He has some splainin' to do and Biden will give him the time. I don't dislike them (Romney/Ryan) because of policy positions as much as the secrecy of Tax returns, Abortion issues, Loophole closings, Tax policy in general etc. I'm so sick of hearing them take 3 sides of each issue. How is anyone supposed to know what the heck they stand for when they keep etch a sketchin' around?

If Biden is on message tonight the american public will finally understand that the only stuff that will "Trickle Down" on them will be warm and amber in color.
