Thanks, will see if our local camera shop has one. :D
That's brilliant.
Made me laugh!
Hello everyone.
I live in the East Midlands of the UK and I have just bought a canon 650d to replace my old canon 300d.
What a difference in picture quality. I am so excited. I used to use my old camera on auto, but I am trying to learn how to do things manually with this camera. I bought the 18-135mm IS lens to go with it and am also waiting for a canon 60mm macro lens to arrive.
I am off to South Dakota next week and am hoping to get great shots of Mount Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Bison, Deadwood etc., then on to New York for a few days.
I am very impressed with the helpful UHH members who came to my rescue when I asked for help regarding my flash. It's nice to know there's someone out there who will help.
Will post some photos later.
Thank you so much. I have only just had time to read your answer to my question and go to the you tube links you so kindly provided. The video made it so easy to follow and set up my camera and flash unit within seconds.
Now all I need is something to sit the speedlite 580ex on.
What would it be called? My speedlite has the hot shoe connection on the bottom of it.
Many thanks
:-)
Thank you so much everyone who replied.
I will see if I can work it out.
Thanks again
Thank you for replying, but what is a wireless trigger and how would I use it or them? :-)
I am new to photography and have just bought a canon EOS 650D.
I have a canon speedlite 580EX that I bought for my previous camera. I want to use it as a slave to my new camera but don't think that it can be used remotely. Can anyone let me know?
So I am looking for a flash that can be used remotely. It looks as if the speedlite 600 RT will do the job, but is expensive. Would the speedlite 430 EX11 be ok or would it have to be connected to the camera by cable?
I'm confused. Please help.
:)
