Its always fun to try something new, especially if youve been at this a while. I too wanted to experiment with lighting behind smoke. Someone gave me a smoking monkee wearing a Fez hat, I thought what a perfect subject. This is the shot I got. Off camera flash hooked up to a pocket wizard. Camera was Nikon D70S.
What about this situation. Many years ago (1992 to be exact), I photographed a wedding and the bride provided one of my photos out of her album to the media. It turned out to be a pretty famous photo, the one of Pamela Smart and her husband with their heads in the door of the limo. I saw it in People Magazine, and someone who had just returned from England saw it in a publication there. There was no website involved here. I took the contract to a lawyer, and he said it was a very general contract that said I could use her photos for publication or advertising, but so could she. I still have a copy of the magazine.
Absolutely amazing photograph. Hopefully the windsurfer got a copy of it .

If you live in NH you must have plenty of foliage shots. If this is an example, lets see more.
Here are three more foliage shots taken locally.
I don't send in many photos, but this one I just love. Shot this past Saturday in Spencer Mass, while attending my daughter's wedding. This lake is at the end of their property. Shot in manual mode, 1/200 @ f. 7.1. ISO 160.
Nikon P-300, 12 Megapixel, pocket sized camera.
Nice shots. Ive never been inside, but took this one from a tour boat. Playing around in photoshop, I did the second photo turning it into a reflection.
I would say come in close so you really appreciate the baby's small features. Window light is always a winner with possibly something white on the side of the baby away from the window to fill in shadows that may end up too harsh. Some of my favorite photos of my girls when they were infants were taken with a flash pointed up at a white ceiling giving you a giant softbox, especially effective if the baby is lying on it's back.

Thanks Ziza. Your suggestion was right on the money. I appreciate your response.

I had Photoshop Elements 4 for many years. Recently upgraded to a new computer and switched to Elements 10. In the full edit mode, clicking on windows at the top, the option to Cascade several photos at once is greyed out. I used to use this all the time. How do I get it to work???
Thanks
Andy
Ive been thinking about switching to a more comfortable strap and clicked on the Optech link provided by one of the viewers. I counted 8 different "regular" full size straps, not counting the slings and minis. Some were defintitely wider than others. Which would be the most comfortable, yet still not slide off your shoulder. Incidentally I have a wrist strap too.

Although most of us are used to seeing some of the great profiles of feeding hummingbirds as seen on this forum, I found that this was an interesting perspective of the fascinating little creatures.
