No, didn't use tripod. At 1/2000s, don't need a tripod. Much easier to take the birds without tripod, because they are so fast.
I used Canon 5D Mark III, and Canon 100-400mm f4.5-5.6 L lens.
Yes, I used Photoshop CS6 to reduce the noise. The camera 5D Mark III is much better for high ISO than 5D Mark II.
I used 100-400mm L lens. The background is blurred because the long lens. I tried to use flash but didn't like the result. Instead I used high ISO.
Taken at ISO 3200, f5.6, 1/2000s.
What make you think that you can judge? Did you see the original? See the cropped portion yourself! I'm very disappointed there are people always trying to put others down. Remember to get yourself up before you are trying to put others down! By the way, I don't know what the portion will look like after heavily compressed by the upload and compress processing, but I can assure you the image is sharply focused. Don't think that I'm going to upload the original, it's more than 23.7MB.

No Nik software. Just the slow shot speed and the reflections of the lights.
Years ago, B&H estimated my Canon 5D for a little more than $300, but I sold on ebay for more than $1000. B&H and Adorama both can be trusted, only you won't get real fair price.
Thanks, that's very nice of you.
Sorry, type wrong, should be WATERFALLS, not waterfull. Don't know how to correct it.

Forgot to say, the fourth shot was from my studio in my home with very cheap, and simple lights. The event had big lighting boxes, I guess they were 6 feet tall.
