I know the angle of the newborn was probably a little low but any suggestions on how to make it better?
My version of Red Riding Hood. Shot from above, tell me what you think!
Thanks everyone for the great advice! I really appreciate it.
Im getting quite frustrated at this particular topic. I have a T2i rebel 18mpx camera, a zoom lense, and bought an external flash. Whenever I speak to professional photographers in my area and they ask what equipment I have they cringe. I feel I come up with quite good photos with what I have but wanted to know... Do you really need those thousands of dollar cameras and lenses and lighting kits to be successful in this field?
Thank you! I did this in their home using a black blanket and a beanie bag to lay them on, but it took a very long time and it was very difficult to properly place light.
Photo I took of a two week old handsome little guy :) He's so little!! Tell me what you think.. any tips or tricks to working with and posing little ones?
thank you! its a combination :) but she is wearing white powder and false eyelashes for a more dramatic photo
I've seen some really great shots of some pets that needed adoption outside. This could also be an alternate to lighting equipment. Just a cute quick pic of the animals where they are most happy
My version of a darker young version of the classic fairy tale snow white. Let me know what you think! I know The lighting is a bit harsh on the left side (even for a more dramatic look)but I'm working on it !
Thanks everyone! Appreciate the advice and support :)
Lighting changes a picture completely. You can try using reflectors to shine just a little more light in the face to rid the shadow, especially around the eye, or as 1066 said you can also do that through a photo editing software.
The dress she is wearing looks wonderful in the black and white.
Definitely has beautiful facial features. Just be careful when having her turn her head so far. It can make her neck look far shorter than it is.
I'm really trying to stretch myself at developing better skills in my photography. I took these pictures of a friend of mine in my small back yard. I rely mostly on natural lighting with everything I do, have a Canon Rebel II camera and haven't had any real training on all the features on it so I'm self taught. I don't know much about ISO settings or anything of the sort. Any help or critique you can give would be awesome! Like I said I really want to get better!
I'm self taught, have a unique style.. would really love to make photography my career and learn how to better myself in this craft!
