I am trying to cut down time on my editing time. To my eye my photos need a bit of boost to the color or enhancement maybe. They seem to be lacking warmth. Does anyone consistently change their white balance or picture control to achieve this? I usually have everything set on the default settings but recently have tried to play with those settings and I like the outcome. I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue?
I have attached 2 photos.
The first, color unedited, I think it looks dull
The second, I enhanced & adjusted the temperature in iPhoto. I like this much better.
How can I get this look when shooting? What would I adjust on my camera before I take the picture?
Thanks! Sorry this is so long :)

Wow! Thanks all for such great info. Lenf, I try to print out all my very favorites too, old fashioned girl who loves scrapbooks! I am going with the DVD, I also have two hard drives and think I will look into that carbonate online backup company. I am very pleased with all of this info! :)

Hi all, I am wanting to burn a lot of my photos for a third backup. I am thinking DVD because of the quantity it can hold but is it better to use CD-R & have less on each disk? I know I will get some great feedback here :) Also when presenting to clients, which do you all prefer?
Thanks for the info!

I found a you tube video where they shot the flashes at the same time to see which one would overheat sooner, it was the 900. Overheats much quicker than the 700. Maybe that is why there is a 910. That 910 is way out of my price range, yikes! Thinking it will be the 700 for me, I like that it pivots all directions.

Now think I have changed my mind to the SB700. Reading a lot of good things about this flash. I will check out difference in price between the 700 & 900 and also features. Thanks!

I am needing a new pivoting speedlight, was wondering what everyone's thoughts are on quality of speedlights that are not Nikon? I have a Nikon D300 and a tight budget :( I am considering the SB600, just not sure. I have not had a speedlight for so long. I do a lot of portraits & children during daylight hours but would like to have a flash that allows me to do more low light evening shoots outdoors and also indoors. Since I do children, I sometimes shoot quickly to capture moments so I need a flash that can keep up. Thanks for any suggestions.
