Indeed. An i7 processor is desktop/laptop-grade hardware and a Xeon is server class hardware.

There is a service called WhoIs that allows you to look up the owner of a domain. When you buy private registration your information is replaced with that of a 3rd party company. This shields you from some junk mail but in the 7 or 8 years I've had a domain I've never found not having private registration to be a problem.

External hard drive is the way to go!!

To enhance this and make it a bit "hands-off", this is what I do: On my desktop I have my files on an external drive. This is the default save location. This location is shared but only with myself. On my laptop I have MS SyncToy scheduled to run every hour and it mirrors the files on the laptop documents folder with the desktop external drive. If I add, modify, or delete a file on either computer, the change is replicated on the other. If I'm not on my home network it just silently fails and runs again the next hour. I never see anything happen, it just works.

On the desktop I use Windows Backup to back up to a second external hard drive. Thus I have three copies of my files. A similar setup is possible on Macs but may need third-party software for the computer to computer mirroring.

If you can, check out Monticello, Thomas Jefferson's home. It's in Charlottesville near the University of Virginia. Great spot for photo ops.

I don't get it. This is how my mother pronounced and spelled! And probably the reason I can't spell. Have a nice day and go have a ganul (cannoli).

I don't think any retailer in their right mind would volunteer to do all the work involved in collecting tax for multiple states if they didn't have to. Usually the determining factor is if the company has a presence in the state. If they have a warehouse or distribution center or a brick and mortar store in the Garden State, they'd be required to collect the tax. Here in Virginia, as part of our state income tax return, we are supposed to pay taxes on purchases from out of state where we haven't paid the tax previously. I'm sure not everyone complies.

Look at you destroying all that FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). Well done. Always nice to read accurate, reasonable posts.
