My wife and I had a fabulous day at Turkey Run State Park near Bloomington Indiana. Here are a few shots.

Some trails needing extra support
Iron in lots of the rock formations
Some trails were on small falls
Can you say "let's go fishing?"
Great Idea - standing in a canoe
Thanks Bill. I couldn't agree more. I'm just trying to make it interesting, but not obvious. I am also starting to experiment with walking with a monopod with weight at the bottom. I'm smoothing out horizontal movement, but struggling with my vertical movement corresponding with my steps. I would love any ideas to help eliminate that. Bob
Really nice job. Gets my idea juices going! Bob
I am a Realtor and am experimenting with short video of a kitchen by rolling on the counter or a table. Just adding a bit of interest. The axels are positionable so you can angle them to go in a complete circle around a subject as long as the surface, table, floor, etc is large enough for your circle path. I am also playing with using this to make informational videos that have a slight movement rather than using my web cam in my laptop. I may also use to sell a couple of items on Craigslist.
This is great for a budding movie director or to take pics or video from slightly different angles or perspective. It not only helps to clean out the garage of PVC but also that inline skate that you are no longer using. I envision this in the hands of school video projects, etc. Please don't judge me on the cheap video camera in the pic. I was using to try out the dolly. I did not glue the PVC so that the length between the wheel axels could be easily expanded or contracted by different lengths of PVC. Check out the link to get a better idea of uses.

For the "make it myself crowd" that looks to PVC like the adult tinker toy...... a great project !

I have had great success with craigslist, but always meet in neutral location and cash only. There are scammers out there, but lots of honest folks as well.
I just bought a "Muse" and am learning to use it. No pics to offer yet, but should have within a week. I would truely welcome anyone elses experience or tips on it's use.

You can get a Personal Articles policy from your insurance agent to cover your gear. They are very reasonable in price. Usually, your gear would be covered by your homeowners policy, but subject to whatever your deductable is. Check with your agent for the best product for your situation.
I agree with most of this writing. Anyone on the government handouts "which all working folks have to pay for" should be contributing to the common good, local organizations, cleaning up the community, etc. A handout should never be permanent, but a temporary bandaid. Also, our great country needs to have our own problems fixed b4 attempting to fix the world.
I was looking around Craigslist and saw an ad for a Canon 30D body for $75. After a phone call to confirm what I might be getting, we settled on $60. It works! Any suggestions about inexpensive lenses? I have a newer T3 that works fine for me, but this 30D will be available for my post college age kids to utilize.
Never mind. I just started looking through other comments and answered my own question. I used to have an "N" guage set-up. I love the G scale, but you have to have the room. Great action shots!
Great looking G Scale. In your own yard or someone elses garden?
I have been combing craigslist for bargain lenses and based on what I've seen, the $42.50 - $50 range is about right.
Thank you for your advise on the wide angle. I have picked up a srew-on additional lens, but haven't done much with it yet. I'm sure a stand-a-lone lens would be better, but affordability is always the issue. Now that I have discovered that any film or digital EOS lens will work on my camera, I am constantly looking at Craigslist, etc, for bargan lenses.
