Hi Richard, My work is done by pendulums, LED light/lights attached to the bottoms of a swinging Costco maple syrup plastic jug. Very little Photoshop is used, mainly cropping. Simple mechanics.

Yesterday, I spent the afternoon building a double (Blackburn). By midnight, I had ironed out many deficiencies. Six thirty this morning, I could not sleep any longer so I produced these images. The next step is to reduce the width of the light. I'm sure I'll find something else to adjust on the way.

I'm in the process of perfecting the Blackburn pendulum by removing possible play and adding a harmonic regulator for fine tuning. Right now it is in the garage sitting on the work bench gluing.

Crazies? Yes. Obsessed? Maybe. The Chaos pendulum is also known as the double, and the Blackburn pendulum. I quickly made one in ten minutes and hung it. My ratios are way off, but you can get an idea of where things are going.
