Thanks for another update on your tours of Belfair State Park bird photography. Going from Allen to Bremerton, I would see the sign for the park and say that I needed to visit it for photography. Well I haven't done it yet but your photos are allowing us to enjoy your efforts in this area. Keep it up as during this time of restraints, we don't get a chance to get up that way .
I bought a new cable and tried that. Same result, reads from card but not camera lens. I will call Nikon technical and see if they have an answer.
Thanks, I will try that next. Great to get some possible solutions to this problem.
I turned off the monitor and in the camera went to live view. In the camera it was working. Then I turned the monitor on and nothing, even after a short period. Nuts!
I hooked up the monitor to the camera and when pressing the playback button am able to view the image of the card. When I just power up the camera and monitor I do not get any picture from the lens. Input is 1080i 59.94 Hz so I think I am getting a signal from the camera. Am I missing any different camera selections or monitor selections? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
Beautiful shots, Jerry from Olympia.
I just went to the LHS and bought some rubber leg replacement items. Jerryj98501
My problem was the keyboard would not accept any input. Tried everything I could think of and then a dialog box came up on the screen saying something like "Do you really want to do this?". Looked at the keyboard again and my headphones were laying on the "CTL" key. Moved the headphones and everything worked fine again. Lesson is look all around your keypad>
Photobum, I live about one mile from this picture and this is one of the best shots of the area I have seen. I am going to save a copy to my local folder. Thanks again for the photo as I cross it almost on a daily basis.
Both great shots. The Seattle view is one that we don't often see. The reflections are a little bright for me also but that is me. JerryJ Olympia
Nice job. I think I remember this as we have been by there many times. I will look more carefully next time as I am usually driving.
I have a Tamron, not a Tokina, 90mm macro like new with filter. $245.00 shipped. jbjulian@comcast.net
You can't go wrong with John Greengo's videos. I have several and if you wait and watch on the channel, you can get them reduced when they have their sales.
I to will have to try it without extensions. Your shots are great and inspire me to try this method although I have a 90mm and 180mm macro. Thanks again. JerryJ
