Roosevelt arch is National Geographic quality. It captures the image as you saw it. With your permission, may I print it for my personal use?

Not to degrade your work, but as an old fart, I prefer the noir et blanc.

In the boating world, propellers are referred to as wheels

Sounds as if it might have updated from Windows 10 to Windows 11.

1) Right click on the icon in the lower left corner. Choose settings and then system and scroll down to see the details of your OS.

2) Open file explorer. Go to C: drive., then Users, then your name. Now look in documents and the One Drive folders.

3) If that doesn’t work, start your browser, download a copy of Search Everything and search for any file type you normally use such as .doc, .jpg, etc. that will give you the path to where your documents are located

Report back after you do those things. Windows 11 defaults to using OneDrive, so all your files may be in the C;/users/your name/OneDrive folder.

Another excellent reason not to leave your computer on overnight.

Since we have no information on what kind of computer - PC or Mac - and what version of the OS you are using, as well as some information on your setup - like any external drives, I am at a loss to offer up any ideas on what happened.

Yeh, I'm a dufus. It's Win 10. Even the recycle bin is empty. The base start-up screen used to be a colorful feather, now it is a window with the light shining through. Fair warning to rest of the group, turn computer off at night.

Overnight my computer did a restart and when I opened it this morning the normal screen that I see is totally different from yesterday. Also, all my files are missing, documents, pictures, etc empty folders. What did they just do to me???

Nice photo Cany, but I always have to wonder about growing up and living with the air quality in a house constructed with Creosote soaked Railroad Ties.

Not to worry, the windows are open so the fresh breeze will give you pure air.

Check the bottom line on your screen. I have seen times I have downloaded and thought nothing happened but there is a tab on the status line with the download results.

What great photos of the "city of Light"(la ville lumiere). I especially like the photo of Sacre Coeur ( I have never noticed that horse in the lower left of the composition. The composition of le tour eiffel is unique and quite compelling. Then, what is that trois wheeler? Maybe the forerunner of a deux cheveaux? Brings back great souvenirs!!!
