Quick question. Recently I bought a new computer monitor. I'm wondering what's the recommended percentage of brightness and contrast? For me it is hard, because when I stand up, the tint changes.
Recently I purchased a Benro 3-way gearhead for my customized tripod that slides on my powerchair. The gear head itself works wonderfully and it has been well worth the money. The only difficulty that my staff and/or my father has is sliding the little plate on and off the socket, they really have to wiggle it to get it in, which then the screw underneath eventually gets lose and I am left with my camera wobbly while I am trying to shoot.
I’m wondering if there is a square plate for the Benro gearhead that would be much easier to work with for all of us? Perhaps is there one with a screw on top that all we’d need to do is screw on my camera each time? If there is, maybe we could just valcro it on my 3-way? The brand I bought is a Benro Gearhead hd3a.
Thanks,
Chaxl
Yes, you read my mind. I want to aim more on the artistic side. Thanks for the moonlight suggestion.
Great, thanks. I'll take a look.
I’m starting to brainstorm still life photo projects to do at home during the winter. I might be interested purchasing a light box for such projects. I’ve done a lot of still life with a 3 way cardboard backing, but I think a light box would be more convenient. Have any of you experienced with one? I see on Prime, some come with lights inside. How big should I go? I don’t need a gigantic one but tall enough for different objects such as vases. flowers and other household items.
Thanks,
Chad
Hello:
I need to order some metal prints for a customer, and I need a reminder of backing options but don't see the
descriptions on their website. If there is someone who uses Meridian Pro Imagine, Would you please explain the difference between standout, shadow and floating mounts?
Thanks,
Chaxl
Thanks a lot! Do you have experience with the G3X? I’m almost sold on it, but my question would be would I need to turn the lens to focus with every Mode...of just Manual? My preference is the. AV mode. I’m hoping I can focus the camera without having to twist the lense.
Your response was very helpful. For me, zoom is somewhat important, as for is the sharpness. Megapixels is important too as I want it to be clear. I rarely crop, as I don’t want to idecrease the sharpness. But what’s a major priority is using a remote to snap. With my disabilities I shake. Therefore being able to use a remote with my SX50 has been very beneficial.
Being a photographer with a physical disability, I use high end Point & Shoot cameras. SLR cameras just don’t work with my limited motor skills. Currently I use a Canon Powershot SX50 which I like very much, and it takes wonderful photos. For low light situations, I use an Goddox V350 flash which is compatible. Even when I’m satisfied with my SX50, I am always keeping my eye open for an upgrade if I feel it would be worth it.
A few weeks ago, my Dad ran into a guy who knows I’m a photographer, and always interested to know how I am doing. Knowing that I’m physical disabled, this friend mentioned a new camera that’s on the market for $1000 but suppose to be as high up as a SLR without lens changing. Unfortunately the brand of it escaped my Dad’s mind.
Does anyone here know of such a camera?
Thanks,
Chad M.
I'm trying to create a logo for a custom made m,ask for my use only. I like CAM to be a different color than pix as it is my initials, and also short for camera. My favorite color is blue, and i picked black only because I want my website to stick out...I just don't know if red, black and blue have good contrast. White doesn't show up good, unless I made my background darker. n Help please
