This is another example of folks reading the "BABLE" and not studding what is there
Yes "if" Adam and Eve were the first and only people where did the supposed other tribes come from that their daughter married into. I can't be one to just blindly believe the many fictional "Stories" in that Bable.

Some claim God created the universe , which included the Earth, just how did He do this - the billions of objects out there in the endless universe and then have time to mess with creating our little dot in the middle of it all. Consider our planet - it's scattered continents and species of life - and "ONE" Small Groupe of people who claim they have the "True" story about our creation. No I don't believe in the God of the Bible.

Who remembers BURMA SHAVE (GREAT reminder of the past)?

I'm sure that Burma Shave actually saved some lives. People laughed and then were more careful! It was a REAL "service" to America, even though it was an advertisement and it was one of the RARE "really useful" ones!

A man, a miss,
A car a curve.
He kissed the miss,
And missed the curve. Burma Shave

IT MAY GO HOME

Wow, Trump Derangement Syndrome on steroids. Move over Joy Reid; sounds like this woman is auditioning for a gig on MSNBC.

I like how she ends her racist rant with “love is the answer.” I’m not hearing a lot of love there, ma’am . . .

“If Trump wins re-election, he will ‘tear up’ the Constitution in ‘our faces.’ declare himself ‘king of the f***ing world,’ and put all minorities in camps.
He will take a hammer and break the glass where the Constitution is,
and he will tear it up in our faces and say,
‘Now I’m the king of the f****ing world. You will bow down, b***h’
He will punish everybody that didn’t vote for him.”
That motherf*****r will have us in camps
. . . because we sat our fat asses on the couch.
We built this country for free while you raped us in your barns.
While you whipped us.
While you lynched us and cut babies out of our stomachs
while we hung from f*****g trees.
And you got something to say?
And they’re going to do everything they can to stay in those gated communities,
not pay taxes, and put those n*****s in their places
and get those wetbacks out of this country.
We own this, b****h.”

“You will not win because love is the answer.”

As I am quite an amateur when it comes to in camera contrast adjustments Iam truly impressed with these posted works. Contrast is the first tool in PS I use when editing my works.

The "Road" - Hwy 88- that passes by our house rises 1,000 ft every 10 mile to Kit Carson Pass at 8,600 ft so the snow gets much deeper quickly - same going down hill 25 mi. down to Jackson and its summer most of the year.

Is anyone else getting snow today? I woke to a light covering, and now it's snowing hard, although they say it will top by 10:00.

Yep - it started yesterday after noon and has continued snowing lightly - accumulating to about 12 inches and it is still coming very lightly- not a surprise for me as when we moved here 17 yrs ago we got 18 inches on April 22 .
We live at 3,500 ft in the CA Sierra mnts .this was March 23 last yr.

Karl Marx was the author of the saying” Religion is the opiate of the masses”. Today, that is no longer the case. Today, it is the cell phone that is the opiate of the masses. It boggles my old mind how these people cannot put down their devices to walk, drive, or eat. It’s is just amazing to me, and I hesitate to see how much worse it can get.

I quite agree with you. A number of years ago the wife and I was eating lunch in a cafe a observed a couple each reading a book while they ate we commented on how they could be doing that- now 30+ years later it is not uncommon to see 75% of customers doing something on a cel phone.

I use a harness that keeps my camera snug on my chest - it has elastic straps that make positioning easy. I use a Canon T3i with 18/200 lens that makes most all shots easy too compose. I find I don't have the need to remove it while "road/car" shooting.

It's a "meme". It wasn't meant to be factual, it was meant to make you think.
Unfortunately, in your case, it failed.
BTW - Exactly what proof do you have that Jesus came back from the dead?

I live in a mountain community mostly consisting of retired people 20= miles from Jackson, CA- we are fortunate to have a variety of small businesses that make it convenient to not have to drive 20+ miles down to Jackson for any major shopping. One of those businesses is a small but good grocery store with all the thing of a larger supermarket
- good meat, produce, deli Items not carried by Dollar G. - Well a couple years ago Dollar G came up with a deal to take over the lease on the building of the grocery store- the areas population screamed blood murder - got petition and stopped the take over - well Dollar G bought a lot across the road built a building and was quoted of saying "they were going to run the grocery store out of business - as I said we are in a mountain community 3,500 ft elevation it is known as "the snow line" we get some snow 4 to 10 inches mostly but every year or so 18 to 24 comes in and dew to this being CA some times it is quite wet and heavy OK Dollar G is cheap on everything so the must have been cheap on their building as on our first snow fall this year it was heavy and deep 30 inches on my driveway. This was too much for the new Dollar G store as the roof caved in, destroying the building - no word of them rebuilding.
