Try saving to your computer's hard drive then down load the bin file onto your memory card (at the top level).

I would like to add that in the "Information" tab at the very end of the Exif Info section, is a listing called "Total Pictures" which in fact is your total shutter actuations for the camera at the point of that frame.

Does the bluetooth unit fit on the camera (Nikon Z7) if you have an L bracket on the camera or do you have to remove the short leg of the bracket to use it?

Had a similar issue when my Z7ii was new. I eventually realized that the eye piece (eye cup) was getting slightly moved as I put the camera in and out of my camera bag. Upon inspection, I saw that a very slight nudge would misalign the eyepiece causing auto switching problems. I replaced the original Nikon eyepiece with a 3rd party one I found on Amazon for $14. That was 6 months ago, haven't had a problem since.

Actually cleaning the viewfinder eyepiece is very easy to do once you slide off the rubber eyecup by pushing up from the bottom. As a side note, if you choose to replace the eyepiece, I've found after market eye cups are a fraction of the price Nikon charges and are in stock vs a 6 month wait.
