good morning everyone: So sometimes, lately, when I zoom out to grab a pic of a bird, its not always in focus. I like using the screen on back vs eyepiece; cause looking through eyepiece is always blurry and foggy. Yes, I've been checking manual and you-tube.

Hoping to get this fixed up, thank you all.

Haven't forgotten ya'll - I /ve been working on these issues. and btw I know about the diopter. thanks

I'd recommend going over to the following website and email Lilian Stokes for her 10 pages of tips for the SX50.

Just remember, when shooting in higher mm's it maybe a case of motion blur opposed to focus issues.

This shot took a lot of steady work to achieve, using my knee and elbow as a brace.

Even with it being dated, I feel it can provide some great shots.

can't seem to find her email address.

Well, sorry it's been sooo long since I've been on here. I wasn't able to get to a camera store because of the border still being closed from Nova Scotia to New Brunswick. Not knowing how much longer this will go on, I decided to order a camera online. I wanted one similar to what I had which was the Nikon D3100 - my new one is a Nikon D3500. So will be able to get out more now and start shooting. Thank you everyone for trying to help me out.Stay safe.

I don't know why, yet, when I take a photo, when I look on the screen on back of camera, it is mostly black or almost black - hard to tell what I took a photo of. It's either the whole screen or most of it, that is black.

I've been checking it out but no luck yet.

Nikon D 3100

Are you wearing a ballcap? My ballcap covers part of my flash of I'm not paying attention

not a ball cap problem - don't own one. Lol! Hopefully getting to a camera store next week. I WILL post the outcome. Thankfully I have another camera - Canon Powershot, which I love.

Have a great day everyone. Happy shooting!
