We had an 8th floor balcony room overlooking Valetta and the harbour. One evening I set my camera up with GND filters, and as I was about to take the shot, hanging over the balcony, the filter and its holder came off the lens and fell to the crowded pavement below. Luckily it missed everyone, but for a few minutes I was having trembly knees. Haven't replaced the kit yet.

Thank you, yes Cypress trees, part of an original avenue dating back a few hundred years.

I drove to the lighthouse at 5:15 and the vibrant pre-dawn light that was coming out between the clouds and the horizon was unbelievable.
