I think I might have found it. It looks like a picture I found of a grass spider/funnel weaver. They build webs close to the ground in the grass. Weird.

Yes Bill and Coolcameragirl. You are right. It does have 8 legs; the bottom ones are overlapped. I wonder what kind. It really is creepy. Thanks

I'm not sure if it's a spider, since they usually have 8 legs. I sure would like to show it to my science class if I knew what it was called.

Does anyone know of a good photo processing company on the East Coast? I actually used Ritz for my photos but they are no longer in business. Thanks for any help.
