What kind of problems are you having with your D800?

First it was the D800 focus problem, then the D600 dirty sensor problem and now the D810 problem. Seems Nikon's track record and reputation has been taking quite a hit. Yes it's true that Nikon has eventually repaired these problems but you would think that the kind of issues that are showing up would have been discovered and corrected before hitting the mass market. This is why I will never buy a new model for at least 6 months after it has hit the market. Although the features and technology has improved greatly, I do question the quality control at Nikon

I've been using the rx100 ii for about six months and find it to be an excellent camera. There is a learning curve but once you become acquainted with its operation you will be very pleased with the pictures it takes. I highly recommend it.

I just answered my own question. This is for a Mac.

and follow simple directions. Corrected my problem

I've updated to the 8.4 camera raw version and now find that I'm not able to open a picture form adobe bridge in camera raw by right clicking the photo. If I open in CS6 it does open in raw but one doesn't seem to have the option anymore. Has anyone else noticed this? Any solutions?

Please explain to me what you mean that Matrix was +2 etc for the different metering positions. Thanks

I'm wondering how you were able to adjust your metering. I'm probably missing it in the manual. I'm not happy with the sharpness of my 800 shots. Thanks for getting back to me
