Back in the 70's I shot with a film 35 mm camera and my pictures were so good. Now shooting with a digital, I couldn't figure out why my photos just were not as "good". Then I began shooting in manual. It really is a huge difference and so much fun! Glad I finally figured it out.
We had a great day at Glacier Park.

I am looking for the best way to learn Lightroom. Any suggestions on books or videos is appreciated.
Are you looking for an old one? And what are you using it for. if you are using it to actually hang a door, it will not match the other one....I'm assuming you need two to hang a door. Plus, I'm assuming you are talking about a sliding barn door. I happen to have some and I'm pretty sure those barn doors will not get rehung, but I don't know if my husband will part with any, but I can ask. But you have my curiosity up, what are you using it for?
What can you tell me about the Pluto trigger? Have any of you tried it and what did you think?
Thanks everyone! It is nice to get some validation.
I love this picture, but wonder what you guys think.
It is length limit, but I don't think they will let a 21 ft. through now. That road is super super congested unless you go early in the morning, which I would suggest because it is gorgeous!!!

I think it is a length limit. I took my 21 ft. Mini Winnie on it some years back. BTW taking a bike down the East side was fabulous. The wives drove.

There are campgrounds everywhere. But campers are not allowed across the Going to the Sun Road, so you have to camp on the East Side (East Glacier, Many Glacier, St. Mary area or Two Medicine) and drive across Going to the Sun and return to the east side or stay on the west side and return there. You could spend 4-5 days exploring the East side before going over to West Glacier. The West side is more commercialized. I'm glad you are thinking of coming here, it is amazing! If you have any more questions, just let me know!
I am about 60 miles from Glacier. I'm excited for you to visit Glacier National Park. Going To The Sun Road is a must and a lot of trails are on this drive. It is going to be super busy on the road, so take your time and stop at the turnoffs. Many Glacier is one of our favorite spots and there are a lot of wildlife there. Two Medicine has some easy hikes. The photo opportunities are abundant. You need to make reservations for motels. If you can, stay at any of the Lodges, but they are pricey. East Glacier is one of my favorite places....if you can't stay at the Lodge, I would suggest Jacobsens Cottages. Apgar is a fun place but I think motels would be hard to get if you don't have reservations. You just can't go wrong with this trip. And Waterton in Canada is an amazing place! Also, if you are a golfer, there are some great courses! We've seen bears on the East Glacier golf course.
Thanks all. I've decided to go to my local camera shop and stay with the Canon brand. Then I know what I am getting and if I have any problems I can let my camera shop deal with it.
I am looking for a speedlight. I was wondering if an offbrand is a good idea. The one I was looking at is a K&F Concept KF590C TTL Professional Flash Speedlight. Trying to save a few bucks and don't know if it will be worth it. Thanks.
Apple came out with a similar one quite a few years ago. About 8"x8".
