I'm curious, which one did you end up choosing? That baby is adorable and you caught the personality dead on! I like the Christmas lights in the background too. What a face, I wouldn't get anything done with that cutie around. I'd just stare and giggle.

I think it's nuts that it was taken down. Just last week there was a posting of a great blue heron eating a grebe. The title of the posting was very clear. Although the photo was an amazing shot of nature, I wasn't happy with myself for looking at it, but it was my own decision, not the poster or the photo. If it had a warning, then don't look at it. If you decide to look, then you shouldn't be complaining to anyone but yourself. I agree with others. We need to learn from this ignorance and having it filtered here does not make it go away.

Oh nooo. Poor Tia Maria. To think she was just doing such a good job smiling the other day. Can she still do that with all the swelling? She sure is a cute little handful. LOL.

You're killing me girlfriend. LOL. All such great shots. The sandhill and the fluffed up red shoulder are my favs. Those and the unbelievable IR you took.

Wow, that second one looks like someone with more experience than a beginner took it. Keep up the good work! I'm relatively new too. Welcome!

Great catch! Crest up, full view, can see texture in feathers. I'm envious!

I live in an area where ducks are everywhere all year long..but I've never even seen a landing like that, no less capturing it.

I was attempting a bird in flight shot and was too slow. It landed. LOL.

Those are nice woman, I really like the 2nd one a lot. It's very unique. In fact, I'd blow it up and hang it.

This will make for some busy parents. Hope they both make it. It's great that you are on the spot for us. This will make for some exciting viewing for weeks. Not to put too much pressure on you but we're going to love seeing how fast they grow.

Nah, no pressure.

LOL, I went through more of yesterday's shots and it looks like one of the eaglets swollowed a fly. There were tons of them up there and I can see just a little speck of light in it's mouth in the first shot. Anyway, thought you'd get a kick out the expressions

In this case, #3 is the one I prefer because it gives more implication of the speed at which the duck is landing. I also would love to play with these pics, adding a "Tow Rope" to make the Ski Duck story!!

By all means, be my guest. Anyone who would like to play and have fun with the pics most certainly have my permission. No need to ask. (although I appreciate your courtesy)
