Update... well lets try again... me and my jitter fingers. I cant really feel my legs all that well somit looks like I am sorta wheel chair bound. The Dr came in this afternoom and said that the tumor is growing at a rapid rate and doing iss getting difficult because so much treatment has been done to the site. I have had radiation, surgery, rods, a bone graft there is only so much they can do before it becomes unsafe znd that is where we are. They said it is not unreasonable to at some point discuss hospice care either. I am.positive about all.of this. I am not ready for hospice care. I want to keep moving forward. I want to thank you all for you kind prayers, love and caring support. This is going to.be a.tough swim but I have all.of.you for help. So Let's Swim, cause thats what we do we swim. Just keep.swimming, just keep.swimming. love annette
Just a quick hello. I am in the hospital having some test done as well as problems walking. They think I am having a lot of side effects as well as progression of the tumor. They found a cluster of the neurofibromotosis around the spinal cord which may be a problem. I dont know alot other than this because this was all preliminary findings. I'll know more in the next few days. So for now I am signing off. Because i keep falling asleep. Love you all annette
Hello Hedgehogs, I am finally getting a chance to stop in and say hello. I was admitted to the hospital on Thursday in apparently bad shape. I honesty remember very little. Looks like dehydration and fatigue were a big factor. The brain tumor for what they can tell is the same but that is a tough one because they won't have true results for 6 to 8 weeks. The lung tumor got bigger in a month that one is being very resistant. They almost put me in hospice as i understand it. I am in palative care now so keep your fingers crossed I get out of that soon though it really is just another team of Dr.s and specialist to advocate for me. I am hoping to go home Tuesday, missing my Zoey a lot. I hope all of you are doing well. Know I really love you all and think of you as family and beloved friends,I don't know what I do without you.
All the best to you, Annette
Thank you all for the well wishes and kind words. Love.you all.
Just dropping by, I am so sorry I haven't been here. I have been having a bit of a rough go of it. Pretty bad headaches, lots of nausea and extreem fatigue. I am finding it hard to stay awake. I am even experiencing some blind spots which I will talk to the Dr. about Thursday. I am hoping they will go away when this ends. They are rare but every once in a while get a little blurry spot. Along with the forgetfulness and mixing up words. Thanks for all your support and understanding. I miss and love you all.
Annette
Hello Hedgehogs, Before I start the challenge I wanted to let you know I got some disappointing news regarding my most recent treatment. It did not work either. All the tumors again grew, though this time not as much as the last treatment they did grow and now they are worried about one in the brain. I am having an MRI on Tuesday morning for this. I am in total shock since I had so many side effects from this last round, I was sure that was a good sign and was ready for the pay off. I will continue the swim but must admit it is getting harder.
NOW on to the challenge. It is that time to HIT ME WITH YOUR BEST SHOTS! yes Hedgehogs, hit me up with those amazing shots you took over the week. They can be anything you took over the week, or it can be something you are particularly fond of... just hit me Hedge hogs, hit me.

Well folks, this could be fun. To me shadows can be mysterious, they can be awesome in portraits and can also work your imagination.
http://content.photojojo.com/tutorials/the-ultimate-guide-to-shadow-play/This site is really good and it opens doors. It also uses what I call a ''false shadow'', i.e. shooting into light so as the subject has a shdowy look. Not really a shadow per se, but an idea.
So here we go for a shadowy weekend
These are cool. Let me see what I come up with.

Pg. 9: Amy, I am so sorry about your fall and sincerely hope you didn't do to much damage. When I was in the Rehab. Hosp. a Physical Therapist told me how to make an ice pack and save $20. I tried it and it works and now is my favorite ice pack.
But a large bottle of clear Karo Syrup. Pour it in a ziplock baggie and put that in another ziplock bag. Freeze it. It stays cold longer and is malleable, soft to lay on. I was very impressed!!! (Using the large size baggies)
Thanks for the tip. Sometimes I have to lay on ice packs for my back. I am gonna give this a whirl.
