I lived in Saarbrucken Germany during the time period between nursing and insurance. I had to walk 1hr to get from my apartment into town. I ate in small restaurant and partied when Deutschland beat Argentina in the world cup. I didn't take any pictures because i broke my camera and wasn't willing to pay 20% tax to fix it! Looking back I probably should have just bought a new camera.

Sooooo do you agree or disagree with me Ronny? I'm confused by your two posts. Did i mention my other job besides best buy is a health and life insurance agent. I can probably help you out with that medication cost issue. I would like to say that I have no problem with small stores. In fact I would rather have a small camera store to work/shop at rather then best buy. Don't get mad when stores close down it can be a good thing. All things come to an end, if something is dying let it die. Don't fight it just enjoy the time you had with the store and they people who worked there. Did i mention I was also a home hospice nurse too? I know a lot about things ending. Also yes best buy customer service is horrific! If you come to store 156 in Tuttle Crossing Ohio you will get wonderful service cause I'm there. If you go to store 882 in Pittsburgh Waterfront Pennsylvania you will get terrible service. It's store to store, no different then small shops. I love small shops I just don't see why big stores are bad.

pieNsleep, Most of what you say is true, but when you say. people posting here "didn't get it" Say What? It seems you may be missing the point too so here is my friendly rebuttal.

Ya that was a mistake. It wasn't directed towards anyone except my X girlfriend. That's what happens when I try to do two things at once. In all fairness it really doesn't fit well with the start of my post. It's kind of out o place. Sorry

I don't think you get it. See it's called capitalism and it is the foundation of our economic society. Every single store started out as a "Mom & Pop" store. Some grow because of good customer service, low prices and loyal customers. As more and more people shop the company grows and grows. So stores like Best Buy, Walmart and Target did something right to get themselves where they are today.

Because of that we also have competition between stores which is an advantage to the consumer and a disadvantage for stores. Stores that can not compete go out of business. That is why "Mom & Pop" stores go out of business. This is a good thing because the consumer can get product at a low price and save money to buy accessories or cloths or food. Yes, "mom & pop" stores are nice but you have to be willing to pay the extra cost. If people aren't willing to pay more, the "mom & pop" stores have to find a way to make it worth while to shop there.

In our society it is all about saving money. That is why there are so many sales going on all the time, in store and online. So these "mom & pop" stores have to give society what it wants. If they can't they go out of business and other stores that are appeasing the people expand. It's not a shame at all these stores are going out of business. No one wants to shop there! What these "mom & pop" stores are offering isn't worth the money. Why would anyone say it's bad for a store to go out of business that no one wants to shop at.

Also you're not getting better advise or better product or better customer service just because it's a "mom & pop" store. Stupid people work at those stores too. I hold a second job working for best buy in the camera department. I bend over backwards for customers and there probably going to use it for a month then never touch it again. FYI at my store over 50% of the employees have the bachelors or a masters degree and are working this as a second job. Were not always right but were not a bunch of stupid teenagers, we can look up info on the internet and then repeat it back to you. How do you think I learned what chromatic distortion and f-stop was....the internet. And the customers who are to lazy to look stuff up benefit from me doing it. That's why we have degrees, were smart like that! Big stores are a good thing.

I go to the store that offers me the most for my money. I don't care if it's big or small. Why do people care so much about the size of the store? Let society do it's thing people. Hey its a shame Beta tapes are gone we need to bring them back. Even VHS tapes come on people lets join hands! Oh wait blu-ray is freaking awesome. Take some advise from Paul "Live and let die"

Push the camera they make the biggest profit on? You obviously know very little about retail. I am a camera salesmen and I couldn't care less what camera people buy as long as they get a SDHC card, lens, filter, bag and extra battery with it. Very little money is made of cameras, it's all about accessories.

Thank you. The issue with the bokeh and the snake was related to 1. low lighting & 2. glass between the snake and I. I shot with a Canon t2i. My focal length was 250mm with my aperture was open all the way at f/5.6. If I used my flash the glass would reflect the light. My ISO was 2500 but i i thought the picture looked grainy if I raised it any hire. Any suggestions on how to get better bokeh in that situation? Also this is the same snake from a different point of view. Any better?
