Socialism:

went to the crappiest zoo ever took over 100 images with canon 7D and 18-135 kit lens but not happy with sharpness (and never have been with this glass) ami doing something wrong i will be investing in an (L) series lens shortly comments + or - are welcome

I bought the 7D about a year ago and got the same kit lens with it. I took a lot a pics with this lens. It is pretty good as a wide angle lens (around the 24mm range) but it did not meet my standards as a whole. I guess it depends on how picky you are. My 70-200 L is MUCH better glass! Of course a lot more $!

Everything you believe and have been told is shattered by the numbers. Just look them up.

If state, local, and federal employment followed the same trend from 2008 through today as it did from 2005-2008, the unemployment rate would be 6.5% instead of 8.2%.

I guess the government has not expanded at any level.

Why do you people believe stuff without checking it out?

Are you that hateful?

No Sarge, I am not hateful at all. I have no personl feelings one way or another to any polical people or groups. I do feel that I should be able to debate the real issues. If anyone is interested in the TRUTH about the federal government. Google "size of the US federal government" and go to factfile.com (Jan. 23rd issue) and you will see all the REAL numbers, not the manipulated ones. The size of the government did begin to grow in the last year of Bush's term so if you throw that into the mix you can make a false case but if anyone is paying attention, they don't need to be told that the federal government is growing. I was not referring to the local or state governments as we were discussing the federal election.

I wonder why he won't show us his tax returns. What is he hiding?

It would be wise if Romney did not fall into the trap the libs are attempting to set for him. They have expanded the federal government tremendously over the last 4 years and we are worse off for it. Most Americans realise this. This is the ONLY reason they want to see more tax returns! That will give them months of FODDER to pick through and change the discussion from the REAL issues.

Good series! The downloaded version of the last one in the series is awesume!! I really liked the perfect focus on the eye as the water is running over it's nose and being blown upward. Another great catch! Thanks for sharing.

Neutral Density filter will certainly help as it will darken the sky and put it closer to the exposure of the foreground. Also, try to take your photos in the early morning sun or the evening sun. You can also bracket your exposures and combine 3 or more shots with an HDR program.
