Everything you believe and have been told is shattered by the numbers. Just look them up.
If state, local, and federal employment followed the same trend from 2008 through today as it did from 2005-2008, the unemployment rate would be 6.5% instead of 8.2%.
I guess the government has not expanded at any level.
Why do you people believe stuff without checking it out?
Are you that hateful?
No Sarge, I am not hateful at all. I have no personl feelings one way or another to any polical people or groups. I do feel that I should be able to debate the real issues. If anyone is interested in the TRUTH about the federal government. Google "size of the US federal government" and go to factfile.com (Jan. 23rd issue) and you will see all the REAL numbers, not the manipulated ones. The size of the government did begin to grow in the last year of Bush's term so if you throw that into the mix you can make a false case but if anyone is paying attention, they don't need to be told that the federal government is growing. I was not referring to the local or state governments as we were discussing the federal election.
