Lots of good advice, here, Aneishi. The nice thing about a camera like the D7100 is that it has everything you might ever need, and some things you might never need or want to use. That's the beauty of it.

Like so many have said, just start out in the Auto mode and go shooting with it. Then try out the P mode that allows you some limited control of the camera. When you start getting the idea, you can experiment with the A and S modes before getting into the M, or manual mode. It's a learn-as-you-go process, but it's fun learning. It all seems a bit intimidating at first, but if you take it a little at a time and not jump in all at once, it's really not all that hard.

Welcome to UHH, and have fun with your new camera.

This is very sound advice. Start with AUTO, then...........

These repub candidates look even more stupid when they open their mouths, maybe they should try saying nothing. Unbelievable.

That doesn't seem to be working for Hillary.

The graveside service just barely finished, when there was massive clap of thunder, followed by a tremendous bolt of lightning, accompanied by even more thunder rumbling in the distance.

The little old man looked at the pastor and calmly said, 'Well, she's there.'

Frank

A man walks out to the street and catches a taxi just going by.

He gets into the taxi, and the cabbie says, "Perfect timing. You're just like Frank."

Passenger: "Who?"

Cabbie: "Frank Feldman...he's a guy who did everything right all the time. Like my coming along when you needed a cab, things happened like that to Frank Feldman every single time."

Passenger: "There are always a few clouds over everybody."

Cabbie: "Not Frank Feldman. He was a terrific athlete. He could have won the Grand-Slam at tennis. He could golf with the pros. He sang like an opera baritone, and danced like a Broadway star. And you should have heard him play the piano! He was an amazing guy."

Passenger: "Sounds like he was something really special."

Cabbie: "There's more. He had a memory like a computer. He remembered everybody's birthday. He knew all about wine, which foods to order, and which fork to eat them with. And he could fix anything. Not like me- I change a fuse, and the whole street blacks out. But Frank Feldman, he could do everything right."

Passenger: "Wow, some guy then."

Cabbie: "He always knew the quickest way to go in traffic and avoid traffic jams. Not like me, I always seem to get stuck in them. But Frank, he never made a mistake, and he really knew how to treat a woman and make her feel good. He would never answer her back, even if she was in the wrong; and his clothing was always immaculate, shoes highly polished too.

He was the perfect man! He never made a mistake. No one could ever measure up to Frank Feldman."

Passenger: " An amazing fellow. How did you meet him?"

Cabbie: "Well...I never actually met Frank. He died, and I married his wife."

It is rumored that there will be a massive memorial celebration in Syria for the two Kouachi brothers.
My neighbor asked if our government will send official representatives to be in attendance.

I really don't have an answer. What say you ????

The first photo belongs on a calendar & some Christmas cards. You might be surprised at what can be done in Photo Gallery that comes with Windows 7. There are many pp programs that are free that do a pretty good job.

I echo the plug for Photo Gallery (Windows 7). Easy, yet effective.

I believe the picture you are using is Al Sharpton's house. Correct me if I'm wrong.
