PhotoScape X is another free* program you might want to try. Lots of features and easy to learn, with plenty of video tutorials.

* - Its "trial" period has no end, so it is effectively free. There is also a paid Pro version, but the free version will probably meet all your needs.
Both Windows and Apple have simple photo editing programs built in. Try one of them to get the hang of it, then use Search in UHH and you will find lots of responses to similar questions. Many programs are free, and the ones that cost usually offer free trial periods. If you shoot RAW, you will have more flexibility in editing. Good luck!
Here's another try, tweaking mostly WB tint and temp and slightly reducing saturation in masked mountain and cloud areas. (Sorry, I clicked Store Original, but it did not download.)
Does adjusting the WB -- making the tint less magenta and cooling the balance slightly -- in a mask on the mountains have any effect?
Great shots -- thanks for posting.
If you get the Smithsonian channel on your TV, it has hour-long shows on Air Disasters that focus on the investigations of actual crashes. It's fascinating how they can ultimately pinpoint the problems that led to the crashes, a critical need in order to prevent future disasters.
Very nice set -- thanks for posting!
Great shots -- sharp, nice color, and interesting subjects. Thanks for posting.

Thank you for looking into my ongoing travelogue and your kind words.
Looks to me like I see you the first time on this trip - have you had a chance to see some of the preceding images, especially the one's from over in Oman? - if not, and if you are interested, I invite you to take a look when you have plenty of time. Easiest way to find the previous images is to click on my name (weberwest) beside my avatar, then click on the figure behind "# of topics posted" - and there they are - I would recommend starting with post #1 where I provide an intro text and some maps - but this is by now a very lengthy series, so no offense taken if you pass!

Thanks -- will do. I'm a travel nut, currently confined to quarters, of course.
Great pics, and thanks for the fascinating narrative.

I'm new to this group and was wondering if someone could recommend post production software that I can fully purchase or get for free. I'm not interested in paying monthly or free trials ECT...
Is there anything worthwhile.
Thanks Tony
Welcome! As you have seen, you'll get lots of different opinions on this forum, and there are many good choices for PP software.
If you shoot Sony, Fuji or Nikon, I suggest the free Capture One Express. It is intuitive to learn, it has many great features, and there are lots of online tutorials and webinars. If you later want to add more sophisticated features, you can upgrade to the outstanding Capture One Pro for a one-time charge. C1 Pro has free updates during the year, and a major upgrade about once a year that you can decide whether or not to purchase. https://learn.captureone.com/webinars/capture-one-express/
If you shoot Olympus, I recommend PhotoScape X. The free version (called a "trial" but it has no time limit) has many features, and again you can upgrade for additional functions for a one-time charge if you want them. I've found the free version to meet all my needs for the TG-5. It is easy to learn, and there are online tutorials. http://x.photoscape.org/
Fascinating, and the interior and exterior seem to be in remarkably good shape -- thanks for posting.
Thanks for posting -- good information, and beautiful shots!
Very nice -- thanks for posting!
