You've all probably seen a million photos of this event by now. Here's number 1,000,001.

I haven't seen quite that many, but I do believe yours is right up there with the best.

Thanks for sharing.

Did a tandem jump from 11,600 feet with no fear and aerobatics in TF51 but had more fear at one floor pushing snow off the iron a head of me with no life lines.

Supercub, I haven't got up the courage to make a tandem jump, although I have thought about it. Maybe for my 9th birthday. However I did aerobatics in a barn-storming T-6 a couple of years ago. Under the guidance of the pilot I did do several maneuvers. What a rush!!! Years ago while flying as a flight test engineer on the F-111, after completing the test points the pilot let me "drive" the airplane around for a bit. Then he asked if I would like to do a roll. Silly question. Pull the nose up a bit, move stick left and around the world went. No sense of the plane rotating, but the earth went round and round. Golly what fun!!! But don't ask me to walk a beam.

Super cub, happy I could bring back memories of days gone by. Personally, after about three feet above ground I want a railing around me. I've been to 55,000 feet in a F-111 and things like that don't bother me. But in a open space, I want a railing. I really admire those who can work at heights.

Ya know, for years I have asked around: "Who is Richard Stans? And, why do we honor him at Chamber of Commerce meetings; football games; the beginning of school days; and, many other public events?" [As in: "I pledge allegiance to the flag; and, the Republic for Richard Stans"]

A real "groaner", I love it! I Had not heard it before.

Usually don't follow links, this one was worth it.

Glad you found it worth while. Every time I hear "Deck the Halls With Holly" these lyrics pop into my head.

Guess it's my strange sense of humor.

Now that Thanksgiving has passed by, it's time to move on.

What better way than to listen to our favorite Christmas music.

Remember Pogo, penned by Walt Kelly back in the 50s/60s?

Here is my favorite by Walt. https://tinyurl.com/y354uq4g

Enjoy.

Sorry, for some reason I couldn't post a clickable URL. Just copy/paste, it's worth the trouble.

The new printers from Epson have codes in them to not accept any third party inks.

My Epson XP-960 objects and slaps my wrists when I load non-Epson ink cartridges, but if I click "continue" it continues to load. However, to prevent another string of "personally I would never use third party ink" posts, let me add that I have gone back to the "real" Epson inks.

-From a friend...

I have seen a lot of hate spewed in recent months about a man who is a constant winner and overachiever, and that's what the people who support him like about him.

Yes, he's been caught in lies and twisted the truth a little but he's still out there proving his haters wrong time after time. Some people are jealous of someone who is successful, powerful, and has a lot of money. Throw in a hot foreign model at his side and they hate him even more.

You may not have wanted him in his role, but he's there now and there's nothing you can do about it. I know it’s possibly going to get worse over the next several days, but like him or not, Tom Brady is really turning things around in Tampa.

This past Friday I was at Conowingo Dam when it was totally overcast and cold. However, the activity had increased since my prior visit. This month is the best time of the year to visit.
I've been playing around with adding borders/frames to some photos - let me know what you think - thanks.

Great captures. You really had a great day at the dam. Good job on the borders. What program did you use for the borders.

I believe You need an faa license for them now also.

If you fly for recreation only you just have to register your drone/drones with the FAA. Cost was $5.00 for all drones you might fly. If you fly one for ANY compensation you MUST have Part 107 license from the FAA. The cost to take the test for the license is not cheap, $150 as I remember and it is no easy test to pass. It covers many subjects also covered for the written test to get a pilots license. Your Friendly Aviation Agency (FAA) does not appreciate your flying in Controlled Airspace without permission.

Along with drinking responsibly, flying drones should be flown only responsibly. Sadly, there are some "clods" out there who think the rules are for others.
