Unfortunately not, just water.

Know it is tough on you Floridians to have to endure these, you have our sympathy.

Hahaha thanks but I would trade the beach for the mountains in a heartbeat.

Great picture, how long an exposure was it?
Chris

This one was only 1.6 seconds, I wasn’t playing with any filters that time

I went down to the dock with the hopes that the clouds would break up a bit and this is what happened.

I haven't posted many photo's at all but any kind of CONSTRUCTIVE criticism of what I post would be very welcome indeed. Just telling me it sucks without why would not be very helpful. If I don't care for something I usually just keep on scrolling

I really, really like mine so far.

Most all the buttons, wheels, and bars are customize able. Since I don't shoot video I use the Video button to instantly re-center the focus point/points.

I never even thought of that, I'm going to do that to mine also, thanks!

As for the battery drain when off, I haven't really noticed any as of yet.

Ask me in a week! Just got it this morning. I already like the auto-focus and the EVF but there is still a lot to learn about it. Heck, the digital manual is about 640 pages long! I may even try reading some of the manual BEFORE I screw up, instead of after!

I got mine about a month ago and I love it. Youtube was my friend, I think one of the better ones was from froknowsfoto or something like that. He went over the entire menu. Enjoy your new camera.

I just went through the same thing with my Manfrotto Ball Head and getting an L Plate for it. Manfrotto makes an L plate but it's a "Universal" one which did not work for my camera so I ordered one that was camera specific and changed the clamp from the RC-2 to an Arca Swiss clamp. It only cost me around $27 and I'm really pleased with it. I got this one from Haoge on Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01CAO7QIM/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 There are other cheaper ones but if your ball head is from Manfrotto you'll need the little adapter that lets you mount the clamp flat on the ballhead. I also used a bit of Loctite (The blue version, not the red) on the screw that mounts the plate to the ballhead (not the camera )
If that is the RRS ballhead I read somewhere that there are a few of the RRS ballheads that have a slighthly different opening. This is on Breakthrough Photography's site regarding their arca swiss plates "NOTE: One customer has told us RRS uses some kind of proprietary dimensions, not universal."

If you want one, you should do the pre-order. They always fill orders as soon as possible. I ordered my tripod from them, at a time when that model was out-of-stock - it arrived within a couple of weeks.

Because what's on Sirius is different than what's on the regular radio stations and that's what we prefer to listen to?

And I hate it when we are traveling and need to try to find something worth listening to. We love our XM Radio, never need to change the channel.

RRS are the ones that I recommend as well. Probably the most expensive, but worth every penny, to me anyway. Best of luck.

I tried to order one from RRS but they are not available for the Canon EOS-R yet, according to their customer service it will be late January to mid February to fill the preorders.

Looks like OP has made a decision so I add nothing but the one I’m using has a “lug” that aligns the bracket to the camera base. Each axis has an ArcaSwiss dovetail for horizontal or vertical orientation. I don’t think I could twist it to save my life. It is billet aluminum. It has attachment points for a strap. My only criticism is that the attachment to the camera requires an Allen wrench. You have to use it in conjunction with an Arca-Swiss compatible head on your tripod. My heavy lens has its own mount so I don’t expect the bracket to hold it though I believe it would. The camera is attached to the lens providing balance. Of course it is quick release as it has the proper dovetails. I use it with a battery grip.

I did order one from Sunrayfoto but I still appreciate all of the responses. If when it comes in, I don’t really like how it fits I’ll be returning it. Plus, I still want to get another one for my 6D so keep the replies coming. THANKS to everyone for their help and guidance.
