If I don't recognize the number I ignore it, if it's genuine they will leave a message. I also use true caller app. There are some number combos I recognize as ear spam and ignore. Occasionally an ignored spam will leave a message, and it is always in what sounds Chinese

Vote Republican!

And just what has voting Republican ever accomplished?
Aside from more welfare for those zillionaires who don't need it, and free rides for multi-nationals who don't need it, elimination of FAIR wages for those who actually do the work for the multi-nationals.
And don't forget those who could actually use a hand up, they are just parasites, right

I know how about Trump-care medical insurance, whose basic operating tennet is don't get sick, and if you do, be quiet and die quickly, but pay outrages premiums in the mean time.

How about this, churches are tax exempt, but republican's think it's religious discrimination not to give these wealthy already tax free clubs even more of your tax dollars to repair weather/disaster related damage.

Yeah vote republican and speed up your trip to distopia.

Jerry,
1. Thanks for posting, that was interesting.
2. Forgive me while I rant. People. Please hold your phone in the horizontal position when video recording. My eyes are horizontal, my computer is horizontal, the world is horizontal. Don't be a verticle in a horizontal world.
Thanks Jerry and forgive me.

What bugs me more is the stupid frame they put around the video just to fill up the screen. It magnifies and blurs and is very distracting, serving no real purpose that I can think of.

Look like you have a lot of assumpionzzz. Did you have lot of those on what your driving now

No, I'm quite happy with what I have now, '98 Nissan XE ute. There are very few cars I'd get if I had unlimited $$$, for a daily driver there are a lot to choose from, most of them are just fine. As far as a lust after toy for special occasions I'm kind of partial to Bugatti, they are outrageously priced and an extreme piece of highly advanced engineering, top end approaching 270 mph, faster than NASCAR or F1, Zero to 250mph to Zero in 40 seconds, and if you wish you can drive it comfortably in stop and go freeway traffic.
That Merc doesn't even get close IMO

Don't want one. I'm tired of all these aggressive looking designs, IMO it only adds to the just gotta be first, I'm important, the streets are my personal race track, I'm the worlds best mentality of too many drivers.
Many of whom shouldn't be allowed out in public let alone given a drivers license

Plus, looking at the design it probably handles like shit, those twin axles on such a short wheelbase, unless they are steerable wheels they will scuff like hell in corners and eat tyres

UFOs are just the current version of "I don't know, so it must be God". I just call them iPad creationists. Really! I don't know any Christian who believes in UFO's, so I would imagine it's mostly non believers who do so!

I didn't say Christian, I said God. The point being that the unexplained happenings were/are often attributed to God(s) often related to current social/technological conditions.
Current conditions are heavily invested in computer tech attempting to explain unusual happenings in the sky previously was attributed to some supernatural entity or another.

Now there is some animated graph or another attempting to "prove" that such and such could an alien influence. If we are/have been visited why is there no physical evidence?
Like God(s) there is no physical evidence, hence my phrase iPad Creationists.

BTW I completely think that there is intelligent life out there, possibly far more technologically advanced than us, science fiction aside, the distances involved make contact unlikely though not impossible.

GOD WAS, GOD IS AND GOD ALWAYS WILL BE......END OF STORY..

There is a lot we don't understand about the universe we live in but one thing we do understand is God(s), as generally defined, couldn't exist based on known laws of physics.
I like to refer an Arthur C Clarke quote, any sufficiently advanced technology is in disguisable from magic. So, is it supernatural or supertechnological ? how can you tell.

UFOs are just the current version of "I don't know, so it must be God". I just call them iPad creationists.

Personally I find it insulting that as a species we are deemed incapable of dragging our arses up out of the primordial swamp with out outside help, Gods, Ancient Astronauts, what ever

Have you checked your HD? While seeming to be OK once the computer is running it may be the cause of boot problems.

About two years ago, I built a nice computer using an Asus Z170A motherboard. Within a year, I had trouble booting, and the board was still under warranty. Asus couldn't replace the board because it was always out of stock. They weren't available for months, and now they cost close to $400. I paid $135 for mine. Eventually, they said I could send it to them, and they would repair it. I sent the board, received it back, and installed it. It worked fine.

A few months ago, I started having intermittent boot-up problems again. I brought the computer to a repair guy, and he eventually got it to boot. He didn't do anything to it, though. I left it with him, but he's leaning toward a motherboard problem. As for the "repair" done by Asus, he didn't think there was much they could repair on a mobo. I'll get the computer back on Monday. If he doesn't find a specific problem, I'll probably install a MSI Z270 board I bought when Asus was dragging its heels.

I've had Dell computers for years, with no problems. I should have bought another Dell in 2016. : (

This is the real challenge governments have to get out in front of.

Mind numbing jobs like that need to be automated. Some jobs will NEVER go away, but they will change and you need to keep up.
I'm a machinist and when I did my apprenticeship computers,as we have them today didn't exit, multi axis CNC machines didn't exist, 3D printing didn't exist.I've had to keep up.
I'm literate in CAD/CAM CNC programming, 3D printing etc. Somebody has to build all this stuff and it's going to be machinists, it's always going to be machinists.
Many of to dreary mind numbing jobs are becoming automated,so you have to keep up,there is always something new to learn.
And I thinks it's part of the gov't job to plan and help these transitions.

I am shopping for a new iphone. Refurbished is fine also. I have AT&T . Does anyone on here have any suggestions for where to get a good deal? I now have an iPhone 5, and it is beginning to give up. I'm on a limited income. Thank in advance. Donna

Try Amazon, I just got a "new" refurb phone, less the 1/4 of new and only last yrs top line model, looks new. Decided to give up my beloved windows phone, best phone OS but support is ending next yr and apps are limited and those I have are becoming unreliable with limited updates.

Why are people getting sick on cruise ships? Are they not getting cleaned up?

1 line has had 7 bad cruises!

I worked in a ship yard that did cruise ship maintenance, and having seen behind the curtains, I doubt I'll ever take a cruise, besides the general concept doesn't attract me.
Ever noticed that almost all cruise ship are not registered in the US or Europe,? reason is it makes them exempt from certain laws and they can get low wage unskilled labour easier,
it's not that the workers are bad, they are not well trained and management is indifferent for the most part, plus many use working on cruise ships as a way to see the world.
Beside if you have 6000 people locked into a small area it doesn't take much, like long haul flight.
