Beautiful! Being a novice, I'd like to know more about how you were able to get the first two...set-up, settings, etc.?

I didn't have quite that much to spend, but after a good bit of research I just bought a LUMIX Z-40 (used & possibly discontinued) for $245.00. The deciding factor for me was that I absolutely insisted on a viewfinder. I am an old boater, and out on the water on a bright day (even cloudy) you can't even see any of the LCD screens I've tried. That was choice, with your budget you probably have fat more options...but I am VERY happy with my decision so far.

I have already bought my 'point and shoot' and I've been wondering if anyone markets polarizing filters that would just 'slide-on' to my lens? A 'friction' fit so-to-say.
