I agree with you. Awhile back I picked up an old push pull Nikon 75-300 for $75. At the time I had a 70-300 on my 7100. Sold the 70-300
Yup the Tokina 11-16 is excellent> I did a lot of research on wide angles and finally decided on the Tokina and have not been disappointed
Gonna take a road trip along the coast from Los Angeles to Oregon soon. I plan on taking my new Sigma 150-600, Tokina 11-16 and Nikon 18-140. I know I will be taking a lot of day time shots along water and some landscapes. I have been researching for awhile. Your thoughts on their use and which ones are good.Thanks
Check your homeowners insurance if you have it. My gear was stolen out of my car while it was in the driveway.My Hartford Insurance covered it with a $500 deductible. They even over valued it by $400 over what I submitted.
After a lot of research I settled on the Tokina 11-16 so far working out great, Nice and sharp and fast too.
I settled on a Sigma 150-600 C and I love it.
Hi Dennis, I have the 18-140 on my 7200. It is a great "walk around lens" especially on sunny days.

The short answer get the 7200. I went from a 3200 to the 7200 and love it.
Hey Revert we just came back from Yosimite and I took my old 75-300 and a 17-50 and wish I had more reach so I would just take the big guy and bite the bullet. We are going on a road trip up the coast from Los Angeles to Oregon and doing some hiking you bet I'm taking my 150-600.

Hey Hoggers need your help. I have been using Picasa for some time but it is past time to move on to something else. I am not a pro and don't plan to be one just a guy with a D7200 and some nice lenses. I am looking for a somewhat simple software to store, edit, and share photos directly from the site. It goes not have to be free. Is Lightroom CC the way to go? Thanks
