I thought you had the ultimate selfie stick, a replicant to carry your camera.

Did some one mention mom? I took these in her yard Thursday. I sent these and more to her and others.

I like to watch his show when I'm having difficulty sleeping, puts me right out. That's not to say I don't like him, because I do.

You don't even need a darkroom to process film. Put your light tight can, film, a church key and scissors in a changing bag and load up. With careful light management your darkroom doesn't need to be absolutely dark. For example light coming in under the door may fog film, use the bag, but isn't likely to bother your prints.

Unlike yourself, I'm a huge fan of black and white. When I am using my digital camera to produce a black and white photo, I use the black and white adjustment in Photoshop. I believe it is in the Image pulldown menu. Although ACR allows the conversion upon being brought into PS, the converted image does not allow certain editing processes to be done on it. The PS black and white conversion process allows me much better control of the conversion.

Personally I prefer to use an adjustment layer rather than the menu. I can have different versions on different layers or go back and tweak it much more easily.

hey bear....Read the article, truer words were never spoken...I have a Canon 60D and ONLY one lens. A Tamron 24 - 300. It does all i ask for. And the only thing my backpack holds is a bottle of water and some extra san-discs. Anything else is just extra weight...

Personally I use a Lumix FZ40: 18 Mp, RAW, Full manual, 24-720 equivalent and always in my pocket. I've gotten many great shots just because I always have it with me. The only drawbacks in my view are the small sensor size and lack of external flash. I've 2 DSLRs, 2 120 and 1 35mm film cameras but It's a big deal at 61 to haul them around.

My little FZ40 does alright by me as does my Mamyia Universal Press.

I've done panos three ways in the past: x-acto knife & prints, taking a slice out of a larger image and lining things up in PS layers. This is my first attempt using LightRoom and I like the process. Two frame panorama, handheld 24mm using the overhead wires as a guide. Processed in Lightroom and edited (removed identifying bits) and cropped in Photoshop. I'm going to scrounge my past catalogs and re-do some more.

In Photos just select an image and press command-I and forget all that other un-neccesary rigamarole.
