Many years ago I was hiking in the Linville Gorge and found a caterpillar like this wondering along and put him on my shoulder where he crawled all over me until I found a fall leaf with enough sunlight on it to take a picture of him, it turned out nice, but that was back in the slide days.

Welcome to the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum web site. Located at 907 Whitehead Street and nestled in the heart of Old Town Key West, this unique property was home to one of America’s most honored and respected authors.

Ernest Hemingway lived and wrote here for more than ten years. Calling Key West home, he found solace and great physical challenge in the turquoise waters that surround this tiny island.

Step back in time and visit the rooms and gardens that witnessed the most prolific period of this Nobel Prize winner’s writing career.

Educated tour guides give insightful narratives and are eager to answer questions.

Wander through the lush grounds and enjoy the whimsy of the more than forty cats that live here.

The Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum is a significant address on any Key West itinerary. The museum welcomes thousands of visitors from around the world and looks forward to welcoming you!

Hi,

Hemingway is one of my all times favorite writer. The first time I read his first novel in college (in VN - Translated version) I could not stop reading all of his novels.

Hope you enjoy the home/museum one of American, if not the world, literature giant.

Best regards

What would be your suggestions for lenses for landscape photography.
I'm in budget so I can't afford the top of the line lenses.
Thank you.

I waited for years to get the Nikon 16 - 35 WA zoom. It's great. Found a used one in perfect condition for $699.00

Wow! Thinking of maybe getting the Nikon 300 f2.8 or 200 - 500 f5.6 for my D810 for moon shots with the 2X converter. Which do you think would be better? Always enjoy your photos, Regis!
