Huh? Well that was quite random rant. Pretty much covered all the bases. Feel good now?

Have you actually convinced yourself that the POTUS is responsible for peoples' drug and alcohol use, and suicide rates? Interesting. Is the POTUS also to blame for bad weather and earthquakes? How about fires and floods?

You funny.

Not hardly. I was only pointing out the ignorant "connection" the author of the post was attempting to make.

Who was president when these counties achieved the dubious distinction of having the highest drug, alcohol and suicide mortality rates? Hmm...

Thank you Samantha for posting the touching photo and story. It certainly lends perspective to the minor inconveniences so many of us complain about. We could all do with a pair of Hello Kitty slippers.

I was using another program that worked perfectly, but that went out of business. When I click on a file in Feedly, there are limited options for what I can do with it. If I want to use EverNote, I would have to pay for it, and it's not worth it to me.

I use the free version of Evernote and have never had a problem.

Wow! Are you serious? There must be what, maybe three or four thousand Klan members in the US which has a population of close to 320 million. A percentage so small my calculator ran out of decimal places. And that’s your chief concern? Not to mention all the terrorism caused by the KKK. Let’s see, there’s uh...uh...uh...well, I can’t think of any since maybe the 1920’s or 30’s.

It's really obscene what these drug companies get away with. I've seen one of my generic prescriptions go from a co-pay of $8.,00 to $150.00 without any warning because I happened to fall in the doughnut hole.

I totally agree. It's called capitalism.

Why?
If the article had read, "WATCH: 5 Straight Minutes of Hillary Clinton Lying and Contradicting Herself" it'd still be the same story.

Fishing is a great past time and a way to clear the mind while waiting for that all important bite. At first you don't care what kind of fish you get, because any fish is an accomplishment to anyone who has never fished. Then, once you get that all important bite then realize you actually have a fish on the line...you are hooked. The next step is to find someone that can lead you in the right direction to where the "good fish are", you know, the ones you can actually take home and cook. You catch one, learn to clean it, take it home and cook and eat it, then the love affair with fishing really begins.

I absolutely love fishing. Just went a few days ago and caught 8 fish in about 30 minutes. One was a 27" red fish that weighed almost 10 lbs, the others were 3-4 lb speckled trout. I was mentally in heaven and all the physical ailments seemed to disappear for several hours. What a great day! I am going back to the bay in a couple of days for hopefully a repeat in success. I can't wait. I wish everyone could experience the peace and quiet of the water and the excitement of catching a fish. There's just nothing like it.

Thanks Jerry for the post....It just goes to show that some of the simplest things in life can be quite rewarding in many ways.

Thanks Penny for triggering some great memories of fishing when I lived in Florida. A friend and I used to go wade fishing off of Tierra Verde, just south of St Pete. We used a tandem rig with three jigs and plastic tails made by a local company called Love’s Lures. This lure was deadly with seat trout and redfish. It wasn’t unusual to sometimes have two or even three trout take the lure. I remember one time reeling in two trout and one red on the same cast. Better than sea trout or reds was hooking a snook which we fished for in the canals and waterways of St Pete with shrimp or pinfish.. In my opinion, snook is the worlds best tasting fish, saltwater or fresh.
