Print it out and give it to her owner (your neighbour) great pic well done.
Thats a good idea, thanks Treslek...
This rather odd shaped eye belongs to Laya, a Great Pyrenees. She belongs to a neighbor and anytime she sees me on my back porch she comes running. After she gets her head rubbed and doggie treat, she will lay close to my feet and go to sleep. This was just before she dozed off. Conventional wisdom would say not to take this shot, but there are times when you go on and do it anyway. I shot this early this morning, really overcast and fairly dark. Settings: ISO 4000, F-4, 300mm, and hand held at 1/30th of a second. Changed to B/W and cropped in Lightroom.

The Vatican would not let me bring in my (pro) monopod. Had to check it in and never made it back to the entrance to get it.
Bought $12.00 Targus monopod at Radio Shack as 'temporary' replacement.
That was 3 years ago and still going strong. I use it all the time.
Thanks for the info. I have been wanting to get one, but really hated to go the expensive route for something I probably wouldn't use all that much. I just now checked Radio Shack online and they currently are out, but signed up to be notified as soon as they re-stock, price $12.99.

Walmart has them as well. I've lost and broken a couple of cheapo tripods, didn't stress me much, I watched a guy break a manfroto by trying to prove you could sit on it, he wasn't amused by our laughter

I hope you got a picture of the guy trying to sit on his monopod. I just checked and my Walmart has them in stock. Thanks a bunch Greg...

Finally got a shot of the Moon last night. The clouds moved in to fast and I missed my chance earlier. Was helping Jay set up a Christmas tree in the front yard. But we were all out looking at all the things he programed it to do around 1am and the Moon showed up through an opening and I got a pretty good one.:)
