For some reason, Strutting Tri-colored heron speaks to me! All of them are good, this one is great. I seems to take me into the swamps, early times before man ruined this world, I don't know, hard to describe the feeling but I think its great!
In Lexington Va. there is a graveyard with a lot of the Confederacy War leaders interred. Some of the huge trees over the graves have lighting rods installed. If they are installed AND maintained properly, they work. They are not install and forget.

Tree Fruit or Gall?...Looks like a tree my Dad had in his yard in central Ill. Folks around there call it "upland or dry land cypress"
Which caves? All of them that I am aware of in that area, 50 mm is almost too long. One or two shots in Natural Bridge are worth the longer lens but requires a lot of light. The others as I remember, are smaller or closer, whichever, and a shorter lens works great there.

Our youngest son lives within 4 miles of that place. Thought your photo was a place I knew! Good job on it, the darkening makes it appear worse then it is.
