I have a Pgriff1 with the tubes, apertures and objectives for 300mm f 5.6, 400mm f 5.6, 600mm f8 and 640mm f 9. They are currently mounted with an adapter for Nikon, but the adapter can be changed and almost any mount can be had. The original lens has a 39mm (Leica) mount. I have added a 39 to 42 adapter, a 42 mm focusing helicoid (to adjust infinity on each lens) and a 42 to Nikon adapter. The optics are all very good (9+) and everything works as it should. I just don't use it anymore. I am asking $350 including shipping in a flat rate box for the whole thing. The picture is of the unit with the 640 mm mounted. Plenty more picture are available if interested.

PM for more info.

My existing phone has a failing charger port. Rather than have it fixed, I just ordered the S20. It will arrive today. It should be fun to play around with it while i'm self quarantined. (I'm in Washington)

The camera sensor will collect data as if the image will be a color image. B&W is done in processing, either in camera or in post.

I bought a used Nikon D300 to have converted to full spectrum. I decided to take it for a spin yesterday and took this shot. I also had never used this lens yet. I bought it for a few bucks on eBay. The far lake shore is about 1/2 mile away. Of course on a crop sensor the lens is using just the "sweet spot", but I am fairly impressed with the result. I shot it wide open, and handheld. The full name on the lens is Hervic Zivnon 1:3.5 23mm TMC. If you like old manual focus lenses this one is a gem.

Comments welcomed. Snarky feedback ignored.

I'll try the firmware re-install. Thanks for all the advice.

I have 4 different batteries, all Nikon brand. They aren't "new", having come with the D300 and a D200 I purchased. They work just fine in the D200, and hold their charge for weeks, if not longer. I've also cleaned the batter terminals both in the camera and on the batteries.

It isn't worth the cost of a repair even if Nikon would be able to do it.

I purchased a Nikon D300 used on eBay for a few bucks. When I install a fresh battery, I have to reset the date, and if I leave the battery in the camera overnight, it is drained in the morning. The date must be set again. It has the current firmware.

I purchased it to convert to IR, and it seems to work just fine with a fresh battery for about a day. A little less if I am using it, and when I install a new battery before the old one is "dead" the date stays current.

I have performed a "hard reset", but that didn't help. I can live with it since the camera seems to function just fine, but it's annoying.

Has anyone else experienced this? Suggestions?

My first camera was a IIa. It was stolen, but I recently bought a replacement and ran a roll through it just for fun.
